Thread: Why is it so hard to get SOE to bleepin talk to us?
It doesn't have to be that tough, start with changes that are made and fill us in on what and why. Take the hybrid stealth nerf for example, no communication at all about it. Is it that hard to say a change was made and why it was made? Maybe shed some light on why SOE took exception to mixing templates? Should I be worried that this was an incomplete nerf and I'm next as soon as you can figure out the coding for it? I'll except any answer: It's considered an exploit to be anything other than one or the other, some rogue dev made the change without permission, we were bored and thought it would be funny, we're greedy and think you'll pay more money if you're grinding instead of playing...if this change was made there has to be a reason, why not fill us in? This goes for any change, it's not right to leave us in the dark and all it does is make us more frustrated.
I'd like to think there's some sort of structure and rational over there when it comes to development and implementation. But with no one talking to us, all I picture is Homer Simpson pushing buttons just to see the lights flash and saying "Doh!" when it blows up in his face. I just don't get why there is a blackout in communication with changes like these...

Pre-cu, you could not use force powers with a weapon other than the LS equipped...
IMO, the fact that you COULD post-CU was hte mistake and they went back to teh way it should be

Even when they do communicate, it doesn't do any good. While a certain percentage of people would be happy and content with what is said, and even bigger percentage will just whine and complain even more, trying to provoke the Devs/Csrs even more for no reason.

Pre-cu the pearls were available to make saber a viable weapon.
Feels as though they took my rifle away with one hand and punched me in the stomach with the other ![]()

Know what, if they came out and said that I'd totally accept it. I'd leave Kash, space and the avatar behind and go back to grinding the rest of my template. At least I'd know.
TK innate armour and COB always worked when I held a ph.
May have changed once I dropped the skills a few months ago *shrug*
Only negated if you wore armour.

A TKM's armor does not apply when weilding any weapon other than an unarmed weapon....pistols defense doesnt apply when carryign a rifle...carbine speed does not apply when swinging a pike.
Why should jedi powers apply when not using a jedi weapon?
You can use pistol attacks withrifle and I think you can fight unarmored with TKM while using a pike. I see what you're saying but there are examples on both sides.
