I would like to know why I am justified in killing a thug who stole a ring, But I fail for killing the theif of a pie.

Is the only reason for this that the Ring could still be retrieved where we assume the Pie must be gone?

I do not agree with these ethics. If killing to return stolen property to strangers is the way of the Jedi, perhaps it is a profession for which I am not cut out.

Any input?

Definetly not cut to be a jedi then. You must first kill hundreds of poor poor creatures in order to grown stronger in abilities, and to have a decent weapon you must kill Hundreds, of the endangered Krayt Dragons or genocide all Nightsisters you see...

the path of jedi is definetly not for you.....

lol try doing those trials as a dark jedi. You could fail just about every mission. I always thought the trial outcome should be different depending on your faction. Light jedi dont kill, and retrieve item. Dark jedi dont ask questions, just kill anything in sight and either keep the item for yourself or pawn it for creds. lol

Well then again neither is a ring..lol

But the rationale behind it was not killing someone that stole food to survive.. but a jewelry thief is fair game...

Honestly though from the team who has no idea what a lightsaber does I think your asking an awful lot of them to know the way a Jedi would act.....
