Thread: Lighsaber colors in the NGE.

We are all aware that as the game stands right now there are only 2 types of lightsaber crystals that we ever see in game: Sunrider's Destiny and Bane's Heart.
The reason is fairly obvious: the crystals do more damage. But to be honest the colors... suck.
So given that we will now have 4 colors to choose from with the increased damage I modded them to get some decent results. (This is client -side only, and not an exploit. I get no advantage from this just the feeling of being in a SW game that is movie like.)
First I changed Sunrider's to a Green color much like Qui-Gon's. The teal wasn't doing it for me.

Then I modified Banes heart to be a true Red much like the movies, its deep and cool.

I have a pic of two jedi dueling as the both have the current crystals I changed.

This is a pic of the new saber color Kenobi's Legacy as posted by AtamPolaris. It is a deep blue.

These new saber colors will provide an opportunity for jedi to be more unique even if its only client side. All the movie colors are represented and I doubt that brown will be popular.
Simple changes like this that take 5 seconds could make this game very immersive. Its a same you have to mod them yourself.
If someone could clicky this I'd appreciate it, I'm not HTML literate.
What do you think? Does it make the game seem more movie like? I think its better than puke teal and light purple...

wouldn't know.. they are nice and all, but i've already modded all my lightsaber colors. as you can see, this is my lightsaber right here >

thats the color I had my sunrider's before I made these changes. I didn't see any point in having two blue crystals and the game has really needed a good green one.

lol yea i guess so, i made one my greens a dark forest green and another a yoda green

The only way you can do this without breaking the ToS is by photoshopping the pictures. I dont think you did that, therefore you can get banned
