Thread: Hybrid Professions, What's yours?
I loved MRifles, 4440Def, 3000Enh & 3000Hlr. I'm giving sabers a shot, but so far I'm really disapointed. I've never really been much of a melee player to begin with, but playing a borked melee class? /gag I've also heard from players that thought MDef, 4000Hlr was a solid Jedi side for a hybrid template. Either of these works great with any elite combat profession.
For the ultimate in tanking, try it with Pikeman; 405 Melee def w/o aura running (can you say 1000+ defense when fully stacked?), 7000 armor, Warcry, Intimidate, 1500 heals, area KD, and either the Great Q-Tip or the Obsidian Toothpick to play with. 
I did a little testing on the hybrid nerf that came throughwith pub24. Itdidn't affect a hybridsability to useAura, Infusion, Force Speed or Force Heal. I didn't test Dom Mind, Force Wave or Suppression and I don't have any of the other force powers to test.
its just powers thats been nerfed, all the other profs can still be used for hybrids
so can powers actually, but now you have to unequip your weapon to use it
i think supression and some enhancer stuff is effected too.
