Thread: how to fix the bypass cooldown timer exploit macro's

Disable any form of combat/combat related macro'ing. Would fix the exploits in one easy fix while allowing crafters and dancers/musicians the abilty to use much needed macro's

Good idea, but that suggestion fixes a byproduct - not the cause of the problem.
You can bypass the cooldowns simply by clicking toolbar buttons, macros just automate that process. Removing combat actions from macros (which would be no small task given how many professions there are) wouldn't stop people from exploiting cooldowns just by clicking buttons manually.

In that case remove the toolbar too. Problem solved !
