People have to do two things...they have to be able to vent frustration and they have to have knowledge andcommunication. If soe closed down this forum everyone would instantly cancel their accounts that wasnt happy with soe and the devs. Closing this forum would bypass the one step people take before canceling...the step of threating to cancel. It would also cut off everyone in the game who has a solidarity issue of how this game is headed. Without the ability to vent, you would go straight to canceling to show your frustration. They can threaten all they want about shutting it down, and actually they never did do that, they threatened to shut down your account, but will never happen.

You know I thought the same thing. If they suspend accounts over this situation,the suspendedwill just cancel their accounts.I know I would.

(I need the $15 for gas money anyway.)

Actually the majority of forum posters dont make up the majority of the player base.

Also, they shut down the forums for EQ a while ago, and survived that.

No reason the couldnt do it again if haveing the Forums become counterproductive again.

Yes, but if they shut down the forums then all the vet players would quit, swg would struggle on a mostly noob playerbase

if they devs did shut the Jedi forums down.... then every jedi would "inhabit"another forum and take it over lol... then that forum will get deleted. OR...... The jedi's will just go to their galaxy forum then the forum will be filled with hate post leading to deletion of all Galaxy forums. Then...... SWG would die. lol
