Thread: Aura vs Valor
Omg definitly Aura....Valor is a complete waste in the defender tree.
Aura adds to your melee/ranged defense, Valor adds to block. When someone attacks you, the computer first decides whether it's a "hit" or "miss" based on your defense and the attackers accuracy (With aura +500 def means they miss you A LOT). For a jedi, if the attack is ruled to be a "hit" it then rolls over to saber block and that decides whether or not you blocked the attack.
Basically +500 defense will make them miss MUCH more than +25 saber block

I have not seen it personally. I am only going by a chef site I looked it. If it goes that high I will have to check it out.

I have not seen it personally. I am only going by a chef site I looked it. If it goes that high I will have to check it out.
I have 4044 Def and I am switching to 4440 Def since IMO Valor is useless. I took it for the block and because it gives slight bonus to Melee/Range def. I am going to get the ranged Def tree because it will add to my Inate Jedi Armor also. Now as far as Vayerbok goes, I have +25 Block Vayerbok and I have tested it and it does work. I block more after drinking Vayerbok than I do with just my MLS saber block. This was without valor active, just 25 shots without Vayerbok and 25 with and I blocked more shots with Vayerbok than without. A good 12pt master chef can make +25 Vayerbok with the best server resources.
