Before publish 9 (September 04) The method of attaining jedi was to master 5 unknown professions out of the 32 available. If you looted a holocron (a rare drop at the time) you could use it and it would tell you one of your professions you needed to master to help unlock your jedi. Hence the name hologrinding.

actually Hologrinding prolly be faster then doing village and wating 3 weeks each phase. considering how easy lvling is now.

I miss hologrinding.... I can't believe I am saying it, but I miss it so bad....

Actually, most claim it was easier/better then the current, mindless, time-forced method of grinding out millions upon millions upon millions of xp for professions you're already a master of and waiting for phase changes.

depending how much you played old system would benfit the Powergamer. Now it might take 3-4 months.
