Thread: I'm a respec MBH, dbl XP grenade, dbl FSXP, 70% temp Jedi running on post-CU easy XP...

A previous post about the different type of Jedi and how they should just all "get along" got me thinking. Here's my perspective.
Got SWg in Feb 2004. Saw my first jedi in May. Started the Jedi path that July with Pub ?9? (Village), got sidetracked by JtL, took a few months off to buy a house and move, came back in and 3 weeks later respec'ed to MBH and chucked grenades non-stop for 4 days while I finished up my FSXP. Waited 3 weeks, unlocked and started grinding like mad. Now 70% done with my MDef/MLS/H3000/E0002 template. The people I grind with on Flurry are GREAT (this is Caras)! No one much complains there, butI see frustration and bitterness here on the forums and with other groups of Jedi. Allow me to say...
If you did Jedi before I signed up, you are a god to me 
If you got Jedi before the Village Phase path, you're my hero.
If you got Jedi shortly thereafter, I admire you.
If you got Jedi before the CU, I feel honored to grind with you.
If you got Jedi due to CU/respec/dbl XP, I'm always glad to see you alongside me.
Simply put? I'm a Jedi and you are too. I know your sacrifice and admire it. I don't think I'm better than you and I know my path has been easiest (so far). But you know what? I was about to leave SWG until I got Jedi. I'm a fun guy and you might have lost out on a chance to hang with me and not worry about life for a while. "Easy jedi" kept me in the game so I could run alongside you and see a "real" Jedi do it right. We "new" Jedi don't think we're better, but for our gaming style, the grind has been just as hard (in a relative sense). So let's just all get along. if you're gonna hate someone, hate the BH, not me

(And when it gets down to SWg nerfs, just remember. It IS just a game (ultimately). Even if they nerf us down to nothing, one day you'll look back and remember that you came as close to being a Jedi as possible (until VR I guess). That's worth something in my eyes...)

its funny, what class was the first to ever get a respec? jedi, they all got hooked up on patch 9

Yeah they really hooked us up. We went from all our skills being in 3 trees we could master to 5 trees we could not.

Reason for hostility:
Surplus ammounts of jedi means more jedi nerfs.
But hey im somewhat neutral, I had a pre-CU jedi knight but I sold it and decided to grind another post-CU cuz its so easy now. 1 line of FS XP to go.

It'd make you a hero, because you unlocked in the same way as the heroes 
Or maybe a demi-god, because even though you did the hologrind, you still had to drive 5k to the village ^_^
