Thread: Bounty Hunters are more powerful than post-CU Jedi can deal with.

QFE, this is the only poster who seems to have an un-biased understanding of the situation at hand.
Jedi might have been meant to be stronger in the past, when they were the few, the elite. You could not achieve jedi simply by grinding bols for a couple weeks. I have vague memories of a time where there was no definitive guide to becoming a jedi. Those players were pioneers, they worked hard to discover the inner workings of becoming a jedi.
Fast foward a couple years later, patch after patch has made attaining jedi easier, there is even a step by step guide to becoming one. Comparatively with the old jedi, I would say you now have SOE holding your hand every step of the way towards knight.
Risk vs reward, perma death warranted a lot of power as to make the whole endeavour worthwhile. Now.. wheres the risk? You loose 180k exp, yet you can grind a Tier 4 box in mere hours. Little risk, little reward.
Realise that now at least a fifth of all players own a jedi account, along with their other crafter of MBH toons etc. Everyone who has played long enough will have made enough xp to become an initiate, some people take more time, some people(like I am) simply are not interested and stopped converting FS xp.
Choosing to grind more, faster, doesnt entilt you to anymore power than the others, if it did then trust me it would become Jedi Galaxies. The day SOE makes the jedi majority stronger than the non-jedi minority, there will be absolutely no point to playing any other profession.
You should all consider yourselves lucky to actually be allowed to play a Jedi in a MMORPG, albeit as a status symbol and not the PvP alpha-class most of you are asking for.

you have to understand your template completely and understand your tactics to be 1.5 times better
Tactics become irrelevant once limited by unsurmountable nerfs ( crystal drops)
just because you are jedi doesnt give you the right to have an I WIN button or be able to beat everyone because that is not how the game works,

this game wasnt made around jedi, just because you wanted to be a jedi doesnt mean us other people who dont have the time or dont want to should be gimped

oh btw sturdone just because we are BH's on a jedi forum doesnt mean we get our own opinion? just because i feel like discussing my opinion to your topic doesnt make it trolling, not everyone is going to agree with you

Every person has an opinion. There are some with good opinions and bad opinions...some are right ...others hold opinions such as yours in this matter.I definitely dont require the likes of you to agree with me I dont think it is appropriate for BH to post in Jedi forumns at all....its like a conflict of interest holding the opininion of your enemy to any standard or value . Most of what you have said doesnt address the topic of the discussion .Please refrain from using my post as a personnalmedium for BH propaganda unless you are going to address the validity of what i have stated. You cant ignore or refute the truth even tho you try to be blind to it

I repeat, I think SOE is trying to make Jedi a normal profession, in this way they can balance the game (at their eyes), since Jedi is not a special profession anyway (you can glow in 3 days any char, and can have your Jedi pretty soon, its not hard as in hologrind times).
Of course, its not a wise decision (in my opinion).
Jedi are the so call'ed Alpha class, making BH the second. This is really stupid, as the BH grind is nothing compared to the Jedi and as such making BH the second Alpha class also unbalances the game and destroys the many hours we put in to getting Jedi.
It took me months to get my Jedi, grinding post CU solo, there was a lot more roleplay. The CU caused the Jedi to be come as strong as any other toon and this has destroy much of the roleplay,you might ask why and that is that you can't go and kill stuff solo and lead the hermit life of the Jediin this time frame and as such retaining BH hunting of Jedi to make them less visable is a stupid as can be. Jedi are being forced to be more visable than ever before with them being forced into groups!
It took me a week to grind my BH and no I don't hunt Jedi, he has the most content in the game and that is without hunting Jedi and he's a dam'ed sight stronger and can solo ancients and stuff that my Jedi can't!
This is not balanced....

once these are fixed ull see a huge difference in your jedi
