Think its just time to face facts folks, someone could post the best idea ever that everyoen would like.. but they wouldnt listen.
Hurt them with your wallets.. only way to listen.. maybe if 100k ppl left the game in the next 7 days... then something would happen.
Aint gonna happen, think we jsut bend over and take it.. or quit.. 2nd option for me thanks

Jedi is by far the most powerful profession in the game. As a BH I spent 200 million just to be competiive with the average Jedi. Get over yourselves.

110% Agree the must powerfull fighting machine is the weakest now, SOE is getting jedi nerf to reduce jedi population and usage soon many jedi accounts will end up close again, these is what they are doing.

rofl sounds like you're too obsessive and too much of a perfectionist.
you fail to mention that today's Jedi has to pay about 5 times more to get pearls or crystals good enough to hurt 200 million credit bounty hunters.
here's a hint: quit ADK'ing everything. Maybe the cost of weapons and armor will start dropping. ADK hurts wepsmiths and armorsmith's wallet forcing them to raise their price. So blame yourself, not the Jedi.

That is a quality post. Even though I thought the jedi forum-goers were a bunch of whiners for the longest time (even since I have had a jedi) the devs have pushed my buttons enough. I dont like WoW, thats why I stayed with SWG, but since SWG wants to be like WoW all of the sudden its time to move on.

Well atleast patch 24 succeded on 1 thing, 1 less jedi, 2 accounts canceled, and a 2+ year vet leaving the game. atleast untill SOE gets their crap together.
Oh and to mr 200 million credits, i spent 10 and i spent the entire day killing jedi on a cl70 pikeman.

You should be more than you are, but be honest, you do want to be gods.

Not gods...just proportionate. 3 non-jedi should give a jedi a hard time, but not just one owning a full template with good crystals.
I see jedi *everywhere*, every corner of the game. Numbers should have been capped to prevent this...If seeing a jedi was a rare occasion I might be in agreement that 3/1 would be okay, but in their current numbers I would find this disparity demoralizing at best. If this was the case then there would be no point in PvP unless Jedi. 3/1 is actually kind of godly, and I am afraid out of the question if you want to keep non-jedi combat professions in game.
Edit: I have no problem with Jedi. None whatsoever. I am glad they are here, and many are friends and guildies. Since CU though, literally every new player in my guild is seeking the path to jedi before even exploring. Going only to those places recommended in the guide to jump on the FS grind. I don't blame them, I don't blame you, you want to be the best, who doesn't. Jedi believe they inherently should be massive. The problem is this game needs the other combat professions to stay alive. When you have one alpha class, and that class is being persued by such a high percentage of players, it is a sign that the long term health of the game is in jeopardy. If Jedi get exactly what they want right now, all other combat professions will sit marginalized, and in the minority. Jedi, should be the minority, not the rule. I for one will not play a marginalized toon, nor will I grind a jedi. SOE realizes this is a problem, but doesn't have the backbone at present to do what needs to be done.

The answer is simple...prevent accounts being bought and sold on ebay and other venues. Increase the xp required as well as increase the xp loss due to deaths. Ban and delete jedi who are caught exploiting. Increase the variety of the playerbase by makeing it so that ALL templates are viable...not nerf one to oblivion and then nerf the rest to match. This only leads to more and more nerfs until people feel that jedi is the only viable option. Then, institute a 1 year waiting period before actually getting glowie.
Jedi shouldn't ask questions like "How do I craft something?" or "What does a BH terminal actually look like?"
On top of all this, what is important is providing jedi content away from the population.
