Because the forums ARE the minority of players.
Well perhaps they are a minority of players, but that dosen't mean they don't represent a cross section of the total player base.
Not saying that they don't(as I point at my post count) but the numbers are something they have access to and we do not. For every forum poster you have who whines like a child who lost his/her lolli, you have posters like me who either shut up and let the kids whine or point out how funny the whines are.
Well I think there are more sub-sects of the forum population than the two you mention. And just because someone is voicing desent dosent make them a "whiner", the manner in which they voice it determines that.

Maybe, but what about the large amounts of protests and complaints in game also...I personally didn't talk to too many people in game who were actually looking forward to the CU...I don't think it was anywhere near a minorty, maybe half and half at time. I just see her comments as insulting.
Then you need thicker skin. Haden Blackman's comments about us forum posters were FAR worse, and he was the LA producer before Julio Torres.

I would take Pre-CU and have to put up with all of the Lightsaber Resist (and ADK'd) PSGs,crazy Legendary weapons, Insane CM dots / areasand all of the rediculous stacking and some of the minor bugs to not have to log into a game where I find nothing to do better than count the texture tiles in Theed..
Honestly, I would take all the crap I complained about Pre-CU to not have to deal with this heap of garbage SOE insists is balanced..
..and to the Pikeman and Fencer Coros - either you are new to the prof, or didnt play it much pre-CU.. Master Pikeman / 4000 BH / 0030 Pistols and some Medic could take most any Jedi if you had a decent LVA with some nice DoTs.. Pikeman PreCU was awesome, swinging around beating the crap out of people..once you got them down just spamming Dizzy to hold em there..you've got to be kidding me saying that you'd take today's Pikeman over Pre-CU..
..Fencer, if you stacked that with anything you would be nearly untouchable..especially if you Mastered it and got a decent Stun Baton and just used it as you main mean of offense..I know that the Fencer Coro has been around awhile, because he's from the Eclipse server..but you've gotta be kidding me as well trying to pull that "I'm satisfied with the current state of my profession over what it used to be" line..
Look at Fencer now, it is simplya modifier..you can lower someone's AR, Bleed em, and snare em..funfun..nothing compared to the defense (ant offense) it used to provide if stacked right with the right weapon setup..
Bottomline? 1.
