Thread: Force Rank System ETA Delayed
Ive maxed my jedi xp im happy with my template...bh's dont show up done the quests I like, krayt dragons drop smuggler stuff whats a jedi meant to do? not a flame just a question it may seem selfish id like to see a frs but yes id like bugs to be sorted aswell so is my jedi meant to just be offline till the frs is up? Ive grinded for months fully temp b4 cu! and was half way through knight trials.
Again not meant as a flame just asking what a jedi is to do when at this stage.

Just a thought. Smuggler revamp has been promised since when? Practically the beginning of the game, and they still don't have it. YET SOE can publish 2 expansions which obviously took thousands of man hours of work from many devs. Once the expansions have been released, have you seen a significant uptick in the quality of the game? I mean I have seen no major new quests (except expansions) since the DWB...
Why is the dev team constantly getting pulled aside to make expansions when there is content in the current game needing fix?
I'm glad to see that TH has said next couple patches will be bug fixes. VERY glad. However, that means for the next 2 months, my jedi knight has nothing to do... I mean you can only duel so many people etc before you wonder why you keep wasting hours infront of the game.
I really HOPE that the next 2 patches will fix a lot and add content also, but I am afraid that once again SOE plans to have major items added through expansions. What ever happened to adding 1-3 quests, or 1 dungeon every patch?

some things...the whole game is 1 big bug atm....they need to fix alot of things, but IMO, FRS is very important....there have been padawans waiting on knight trials for quite some time now, and there are people that are jsut getting initiate but will be caught up to the people who have been waiting a long time....plus, we have full temp paddy's which should never be, and things are a huge mess...1 of the reasosn people are going jedi right now is because there is no FRS system, they can be a jedi for 3 weeks and be caught up to people that have been waiting for months....yes there are lots of other probs but the FRS is def 1 of the most important

If they're focusing on bugs and issues then I'd at least hope they fix the pearl drops in these smaller publishes. That's the least they could do. It didn't take long to nerf the DJM loot drops so why not correct the Krayt loot drops?

Given that the DEVs have stated that what thy were waiting on was Lucas Arts approval, I would suggest preparing by practicing being a respectable jedi/Dark Jedi. IE don't expect a Jedi to be able to use force lightning very well, don't expectto be able to play nicely as a Dark Jedi.
Remember these concepts:
1) The Darkside is quicker and easier, but NOT more powerfull.
2) Be civilized. All Jedi, light or dark, were respectable individuals. Never in any movie/comic/novel did you hear even the darkest Jedi reduce themselves to petty insults. They are Gentlemanly, and civilized, even while being so evil you can feel it dripping off of them like a cold pudding. The scene where Vader invites the Leia, Han andChewy to dinner before torturing and imprisoning them comes to mind. Also, note, the only reason Vader was haing them tortured was to make sure he had Luke's attention vis his force vision.
