I got my Jedi trainer in Kadaara (i am a rebel) and got cracked down my third visit. Go to see the recruiter and he asks me if I want to declare...
Apparently I didn't get set to overt after all. Log out and back in just to check: not overt. Bug?
I was not wearing the robe and did not have the light saber equipped when this happened.
If I understand correctly, this should not put me on the terminals. Has anyone had this experience? Did I get the visibility thing right?

OK, I will try.
1. my faction is rebel.
2. It is time to see my trainer, so I unequip the lightsaber and robe. I put on some ordinary clothes.
3. On the way to the trainer I get cracked down, and the investigation says that I am carrying contraband.
4. I get a message that says I will now be set to overt until I see a recruiter.
5. there is a whole lot of shooting and cracking of heads (I kill them using my TKM skills)
6. I train and fly to Moenia to see the recruiter.
7. The recruiter asks me if I want to declare. He should have offered me to become a covert faction member.
8. I check, and my status is still covert for some reason.
9. I log out and back in, still covert.
So my question is:
Is there a chance I wound up on the terminals instead of getting set to overt?

I bought 1000 FP from a smuggler , my jedi is rebel too, so with the 1000 fp i get protection from Imperial NPC's and when scanned all i get is fined.

Dont go to Kadarra. YOu must know some other jedi that can train you.

u shouldht have any vis for it.
also i heard other jedi training u can give u vis? not sure about it but.

Exact same thing happened to me yesterday. I got scanned, recieved the message that I was forced overt, and then made a mad dash to a rebel base only to be asked if I want to declare.
I logged out there as I was afraid it was bugged and didnt want to find out the hard way.

Exact same thing happened to me yesterday. I got scanned, recieved the message that I was forced overt, and then made a mad dash to a rebel base only to be asked if I want to declare.
I logged out there as I was afraid it was bugged and didnt want to find out the hard way.
I smell a bug somewhere. At least I can walk around without being afraid of gank squads for a few more days.

don't think so when I was never on the terminals, I was always trained by another Jedi.

Nah, it doesnt give you vis. I do it all the time.

Sounds like a mutation of the bug I had a few weeks ago.... got scanned by a Stormtrooper, system message came up saying that I had failed the scan.. Stormtrooper seemed to shrug and walked off, no overt status, no shooting or swearing
