forum registration doesn't mean squat. I regestered in march of this year but have been playing since 7/10/2003.
and I am a post CU jedi.
it is people like yourself that ruin this profession.

Wackie, get your facts straight before making a post.
Nobody wants pre-CU sabers nerfed, new Jedi want equal chances to get equally good sabers as pre-CU Jedi.

I'm seeing elitist pre-CU Jedi posts like this all too frequently on this forum. Apparently if you don't have a high enough forum post count, your account was created after a certain date, or you unlocked your Padawan after a certain date, somehow your opinion doesn't count and you should "just shut up"... or as the quoted poster says, just commit suicide.
Believe it or not, there are some of us out there who are 2-year veterans from Beta 3, aren't eBay'ers, weren't grenaders, and actually took our time to unlock rather than powergrind before the CU hit.
Well, here we are. A percentage of the Jedi community have pre-CU pearls and sabers, and the remaining percentage does not. The question is: do we pit the two groups against each other, or do we work together to resolve the problem without elitism and name-calling?

Well other then the fact I have no idea what you said...
We have been in actully 5 revamps.. (cu included)... and for what its worth.. this last revamp is and has been a mess.
The pearl part I understand and the Saber that is old having better dps I understand... There is a two ways to view this for sure, Us old guys harvested... earned, looted our good pearls, we bought them, tuned 100s just to get a good tune like anyone else would. Now those are gone.. so, Yes I do not want mine to go away due to I earned them long before these new guys were even Jedi... so that is not fair of course and no different then getting a weapon or item and taking it away etc..
The saber part is the same, in the respect (I made my saber.. its old I earned it , made it and it's not my fault that the cu made them different.. I agree that it's fair as well.. (This is not like Old Jedi fault the cu is sucking in some places).. BUT with that said, what has happend is the New respec Jedi or new Jedi etc.. have wanted us and our old stuff nerfed because they cant get it now or make them... SO this has built up our left and right sides to new and old Jedi... (We earned it vs we just want it)-- so we will most likely never see eye to eye and will more or less be at odds within our own prof until the game dies...
It's too bad I admit it , at one time we were a proud class... we had respect and honor... we were rare and powerful... the only thing we have left to our profession is the mere fact we still have a saber.. thats about it.
I still love Jedi, I will not forget the music when I unlocked and the fear to even log him in... We hid... and we were freaked out to even come out into the public... Now........ we are a joke that can be taken out even at full template by a week old profession and have less respect in the game then a nuna..
I Hope we can just make into the next year without being a starting profession.

cant we all just get along i mean we have enough hatred with the galactic civil war on both the jedi and the solder fronts, i mean we should unite with our factions as jedi divide into old reb jedi v.s new reb jedi VS old imp jedi v.s new imp jedi cause then it gets to confusing on who am i suppose to pwn

fine i went through nearly 3 great CH nerfs, i guess i deserve a krayt dragon or something right? give me a break those of us in the game have all been through crap (the worst beingthe hologrind, the game has never recovered)

oh yeah i remeber those ch nerfs, they did suck, i gave up on mstring ch when the cu hit though, i concentrated on fs grindig with one of last know trple mstry profs tkm, mstr swordsman, mstr fencer.
