Thread: Lightsaber Damage
you have to be more hardcore than people grinding for jedi... or the jedi grinding jedi.. to get a full set.
making r.i.s. like you say is riduclous... you'll never get any... it's 50million for just a helmet!
this will just further BREAK our unstable economy in this game.
think of something else
A) make R.I.S armor is eaiser to obtain.
B)Have a new kind of armor with the lightsaber protection

80% comp works just fine for lightsaber defense. Did u consider how much that will screw u the economy if 1 armor type was defensive against the lightsabers? Face it, on my server 80% of the armorsmiths are money grubbing jerks that arent there to equip the server, they want to make money. Therefore, they assume that the people who need the armor, Bounty Hunters(like myself), are rich. While we tend to be slighty more wealthy than a pikeman, we dont have near the cash to fork over for a lightsaber defensive armor.
Next, u cant tell me that jedi wont be gods, when the only armor that can hold up against the ls cost 50 mil for a set.
Your suggestion is based solely on the fact that jedi are being gunned down be Bounty Hunters all the time. Now they want to be able to slice right through my armor, pfft. Your saber does 1000+ for a reason. If Jedi get the godsend, i want an ap3 stun carbine that caps at around 800 damage. Then u can have ur cool armor. But then, you will cry that jedi should have stun weapon protection.
Whats next, u gonna complain that u get a tef whenusing yourunblockable lightsaber. Come on, the bounty hunter proffession exists for a reason.Plus, i hear if u spam your assasin with death threats u get magically rezzed.
Wake up jedi, you arent my god. If you were, the world would have ended because i killGods fpra living.

hmm lets see jedi was promised to be the end game...you as a BH was never promised jack crack. you r supposed to fear jedi up close. brawlers laugh in our face,,,pfft youspend 50 hrs of playing time to get the ultimate character the DEVS said this would be... and +1000 damge doesnt do **edit** to 80% kenetic armor. this is a joke and until they fix the damage its supposed to do then it will be worth playing it.i didnt spend all my damn time playing to get another bull*** kenetic weapon!!!!

They should add a new damage type, give armorsmiths the ability to add the new damage type protection (1-15%) in composite and (30-60%) in Mandalorian armor. They should also fix armor piercing. I disagree that it would make jedi gods it would just make the Mandalorian armor a must for any Jedi hunter..personally i think asa BHI would really like that added bit of content. It would be fun to struggle to get the Mandalorian armor (that I think only MBH's should be able to wear a full suit off...like each level of investigation should allow them to wear another piece of it and the last piece being the helmet at MBH) and then with your new armor you are equipped to take down a Jedi which were after all supposed to be the most powerful PvP in the galaxy.
There should be defense for Jedi but only after they learn Padawan and not significant defense until Gaurdian. BH's would then weed out all the Jedi initiates that aren't playing their Jedi properly for the time period and only the careful Jedi would reach a level that would be dangerous for a single BH and even a groupto take down. The current dizzy/kd combo should not touch a Padawan, which would make any fight much more interesting and require a lot more strategy for a Jedi take down team.
As a former BH and current Initiate I don't mean to sound like I am complaining but lets make these two professions more fun for each side...after all this is supposed to be a sort of mini War within the larger GCW. There should be a special mission that you run for Vader to help you become a Jedi hunter, this would eliminate the dreaded rebel BH's that aren't RPing thier rebel status by killing rebel Jedi (Imp Jedi would be a different story..)
anyway any thoughts?
