With modded speed it can be brought down to 1.6 speed, it haas a higher min and max than my saber, it has perma slices/PuP and on top of that is a quest item anyone can pickup at no cost....

I spent a helluva time getting my saber stats, and some guy can just do a quest with a walkthrough to get it in 1-2 days at a +55 range.

put on top of that a SL debuff on the Jedi and WOW that rifle is hitting me for tons of dmg.


Any BH who didn't have a great weap before basically got one now off the shelf.

that cloak looks like a generic cloak some tailor could make....

it can't even be worn over our robes..

it's for the people who want mroe attachments and against the people who want to feel like a Jedi.

This thing in the hands of a BH/SL who takes his time to sniper shot you arse will be extremely dangerous. This piece is a damage frontlaoder. Even with force aura and valor up my Mdefender butt will still be looking at 624 per hit, not including what ever special modifier is on the thing.

well I used that gun in the beta with a mbh/mr with the ranged healing from the medic tree into cm tree...All I can say is my DPS was off the chart, if I could have found a speed pup....I bet it would have been into the 1000. marks....my alt character is a MBH/MR and with a speed pup my scater pistol is 979. dps....don't seem quite fair now does it? I bring down regular professions with ease in duels with that gun...now imagine using the dp-23 gun from a cover at 50m's KD shot then hit him with a Sniper shot...game over in two shots....yeah my jedi will not be visiting mustafar, I will be relegated to the mydril caverns where at least I can have fun.

They keep beefing up other professions more and more, while continuing to nerf Jedi at the same time, and wonder why we're so pissed.

i think that the new weapons are the answer from soe to people who want less jedi on the servers! they cant delete the jedi so they give bh powerful weapons and i think the most will leave their jedi logged out!

I got a bad feeling down the line.Epic Profession weapons and armor will startcoming out of the woodworkin the next 2 years.We'll start tosee so&so wield an epic 2.0 Jedi lightsaber (crafted with the heart of a rancor, the nails of a nightsister, and the slime from Jabba drinking glass combined inan epic 2.0 lightsaber crafting tool)with a mod dps of 5000, mod speed of 0.5, and a force power cost of 20 pts. Some BH griefer by the name of Dingo Fett with a Epic 1.5 Flamethrower, a backpack/jetpack piece that shoots a missle that does a modified DPS of 7000 damage.Dingo is wearing an Epic BH armor piece that has forcefields that deflect and reduce lightsaber damage by 75%. This is the faith of the game. The Obiwan expansion, it's just the begining.

Those weapons can be PuP'ed as well, and we can be kept out of range with the roots and snares of patch 24 - even a noob BH should find it easy to take down a MDEF MLS Jedi now

If they wanted Jedi to feel included in this expansion, then they could have given us a new crystal that did more than 30% elemental damage (for example) - that would help us feel that they think of US occasionally, not just the enemies of the Jedi.

I suppose it will make the game much more fun for all of you who actually stay after this - surviving aganist a noob bounty hunter will be much more of a challenge for a fully templated Jedi.

When they said there would be 'content for jedi', dying to Bounty Hunters wasn't exactly what I had in mind....
