Thread: Do you hate BH's and what's your record against them?

1.Hate no. They are just doing playing their role the same as I.
2. Lost twice before I was a Knight, have had only about 6 come for me since being a Knight and I won all those.

I guess the noob BH's must run around a lot more than I thought....Tip: If you are a BH and don't have 75% AB resists on at least 6000+ armor, an exceptional weapon, and all the foods, etc... work on that first...
Umm...not required. I substitute the 8 million in equipment for simple tactics and skill.
I am ignoring the first psrt of your post because my point is this;
The people who hate jedi, hate xp loss, and want no more "forced pvp" seem to be the people who have a poorer record against them. The people who win the most seem to enjoy the confrontations. The ones I truely respect and the ones that we should all look to emulate are the ones who say "we win some, we lose some, but I enjoy the challenge"
I would like to reiterate myself that I just like the fights. Whether it is via a BH encounter or being ganked at the bank perma overt. BHs are just another avenue to kill red stuff that actually fights back.
dont hate them
since Bh publishnever killed except once when i alt tabbed ou and crashed, the bh just happened to show up then. lol
pre Bh publish too many to count lost and won. lol
Could care less about them, just wish i got my payout for killing them.
My record is 33 wins 0 loses 0 draws. a few of the fights were 2 vs 1(not in my favor)

For those claiming 100% (or near that) success against BHs, do you all have sabers in the 700 max damage range (I've even heard of sabers showing 700 DPS-even though it's meaning less, that means really good max damage and nice un-modded speed)?
If not, are you using a mediocre (or worse) saber along with powers?
I am curious, since my record is perfect: No wins, no losses, no hunts. I'm not sure what it is taking to be able to get a perfect winning record against a BH/CM.
I have a fair idea how to use the template, even though the solo grind didn't truely teach PvP, I have done some PvP in the past and learned the template with the long grind. However, I am not sure how well I'd do, especially since the BH gets the first shot (will often be when force is already low and you're already half dead), will obviously come fully buffed while the jedi may not be wasting "the good stuff" shopping the bazaar, etc., and can chose the time and place of the fight.
My saber has a 575 max damage, I win all my encounters
My saber has 683 max damage with a 1.26 mod speed and 12 fc, so I win them even faster.

mines ~690 max damage with a 1.25 speed mod, so I win slightly faster ![]()
but yeah, once your saber passes around 620 max damage with a named colour crystal, BH's aren't much of a fight.
1. No. They annoy me sometimes, and most of the time I can't be bothered with them, but I don't hate them just for being BH (or for hunting me). I will only fight if it suits me, and calling me a coward for running just makes me laugh as I imagine how frustrated the BH must be to resort to name-calling (if you did your job properly I wouldn't have been able to run, so learn your template and come see me again).
2. I lost twice when I was around the 40-60k payout. Once to the infamous "same faction, but my gank squad is opposite faction so I can gank you but your group can't help you" hero (if you read this, you know who you are, but I doubt you're a BH anymore because it was always obvious you couldn't PvP), and I was on dial-up and wasn't able to get away.Second timeto a very good BH, who turned up just as I was talking to a BH who attacked me "by accident" (same faction). I would have died anyway, but it was fun for about 2 minutes and he was really nice to me after (tried to find me a rez etc). That was almost a year ago. Since then I've done the "cloak and run" routine on a few occasions (and been hate-telled for it), once just after a lair when I was at 1/4 health and didn't even have force to heal (managed to channel just enough to FR2, which gave me just enough distance to cloak, despite the KD), once fought a BH for about an hour and a half before I gave up and ran (and he kindly dropped my mission), and a few times was rooted and just stood there while the BH ran out of my 32m saberthrow range, at which point I cloaked (more hate-tells). Since dropping cloak (I can get away just as easily without it you "nerf cloak" whiners) I've had one BH change their mind just as they were about to attack me (not sure why), and one die in 30 seconds (he interrupted me doing a quest, so I dispatched him as quickly as possible).
In summary: 1 loss, 1 griefer gank-squad (yes, he really did do it specifically to grief) and the rest have been wins or escapes. And my saber is just under 30FC and moderate damage (400-ish). I'm not a great PvPer, but I know how to stay alive, and can kill if I'm in amind to do so. I find my saber adequate, though obviously lacking, and my only concern about the state of jedi is that we are seen as powerful because we don't die, rather than because we "win". If we were 1.5X, more of us would stand and fight, but with the odds stacked against us and no incentive, why bother? I don't run because I'm scared, I run because there's no point (so why should I care?). I plan to make it to 1 year (about 6 weeks to go) without dying to a BH. If I kill a few along the way, it's only because I either feel like it, or because it is more convenient to do that than run. I'm cold like that.

No, I don't hate them.
Wins: around 10
Looses: 0
Note: I never was on terms during grind and got first visit already fully templated.

No.
How successful have you been against them?
I have never been killed when I chosen to not fight. Stasis is all it takes.
I have never been able to even scratch one with my lightsaber.
