Video Games are fun is it not so?

This is a HUGE problem with the current system. I can't for the life of me understand why we can't choose which level of power we use - we are MASTERS afterall.

If I were feeling vindictive I'd say this was because the programmers were to lazy, too incompetent or too stupid to do it... IF I were feeling vindictive.

"to interfere with one's gaming enjoyment: To drastically alter an item which is enjoyed by thousands."

The attacks are still there but were removed from players at master levels to "clear the clutter" from our command list. Much like how when the CU hit and most of MLS lost its animations they were just disabled but later modified and reintroduced into the game. Unfortunately there seems to be little regards in addressing this issue as it doesn't only affect just Jedi as there are many other combat professions who experience the same problems.

Based on what you said that they are still there only removed from the list. Can I then assume that an MPowers player can just make his own macro calling the correct attack and it will then use the Single KD/Single Intim.? OR does the command now just spark off the area variant that are gained at master?

Wish it were true but what happens is once you hit master the previous attacks are usually overwritten by the higher ones. For example in the lower levels a Powers Jedi gets access to Force Intimidate, the single version. Once the Jedi picks up Improved Force Intimidate they now lose access to the lower one even if they use the slash command. Basically the commands are there but inactive once you've trained in the higher version and if you left the lower icon on your toolbar it automatically reverts to the new skill.

In some cases this was a good move on the devs parts but in the long run it's causing too many problems than good. A good example would be Advanced Critical Shot from Master Bounty Hunter. There is really no purpose either on cost or speed to use the lower level skill of critical shot on an opponent so having the highest skill value overwrite the lower ones is good. On the same token take Improved Spray Shot (AoE attack) from Bounty Carbines and it would be feasible that a person would want to use a lower version of this attack when in spin groups to keep the agro aggression down thus preventing instant hate but allowing the attacker to get their hits in for xp credit.

Being that I don't know exactly what was done with the code in the CU I could only assume/guess that there would be a section to which is causing the overriding of lower trained skills. As a quick fix they could turn this option off allowing players to use the lower level specials without having to worry about losing them at master and at the same time please some of the masses over issues which should have been caught in beta testing. Worst case scenario is that it'll take them another month or 3 before they fix it in which only those classes where the high level skill turns a single attack into area (i.e. a good portion of Powers specials) and special circumstances such as Force Run 1 are either changed to separate skills and/or complete nerfed to the point where any force run means 99% damage reduction.
