We have a new expansion that has some cool quests. While not exclusive to Jedi it has a story which certainly gives me a RP opportunity. The tired old "then stay off the terms" bullsnot doesn't fly. I decided I wanted to check out the Avatar platform finally and enjoy that little story thread. Any idea how to do that without getting on the terms brightboy? You say that we should just play our alts? My Jedi's alt is a Master Musician/MCM. Problem is thanks to the wonderful level system she is a CL55 and not very survivable on Mustafar. I can help a group with her but I want to enjoy the stories with my Jedi. My other alt is a Master Ranger/MBH. Yep I'll probably do the quests with him too but I still want to play my Jedi. My main? Skor is a CL1 crafter. I can't even make trips to my tent outside Coronet with out being one shot incapped INSIDE MY FREAKIN GD TENT! Thank you SOE for adding that spice to my crafting day.

My Jedi is my main combat toon. I've been a Jedi for only about 9 months and only had 1 bounty hunter attack. I RP light (i.e. carebear for the Court-Jester crowd) Jedi and I refuse to duel in public. I do not wear robes but when I've been doing quests I do carry my small black lightsaber in hand just in case the inevitable BH strikes. However, I will then do whatever is necessary to escape and evade the fight. Why? Um isn't that what a smart Jedi in hiding should do? Rather than stay and fight in public and gain more notice from the empire I choose to run and mess with the BHs head. If I can manipulate the situation to my advantage I may fight but on my terms not the BHs. However, doing all that on Mustafar will be a large challenge to say the least. It tends to be a rabbit trap for the Jedi. One way in, one way out.

Anyway, back to the thread topic: The current buggy, exploit ridden combat system is what Dy is complaining about. Dy has said repeatedly that he doesn't mind being hunted or PvP. But trying to enjoy the story of an expansion you paid for while being griefed is wrong. Every BH has known for weeks that this was going to be a Jedi killing field. SOE couldn't figure that out? Probably but they really don't care. Getting expansions out on marketing schedules is all that matters.

I haven't visited Mustafar yet since it's pretty much a lag-fest with every lootwhore spawn camping so they can sell stuff on the forums. I'll probably try it out this weekend and deal with the BH as necessary.

I do not take credit for thoose changes, but I am ofcourse extremely happy they where finally made. And deep inside I do not believe you are too unhappy that thoose things where fixed. At least not if youre still a MHealer.

After the CU, most Jedi abilities where still not upgraded to work with the new system. It appears as if the Dev's have systematically rewritten power for power since then. Upgrading the code to the new system may be both a boon and a curse. For Force Armor and Total Heal it was a Boon. For Avoid Incap and Force Heal it was a curse.

If there's anybody to thank for this change, it was SonGouki for pushing for it. Beyond the correspondant I believe we are completely ignored, while our correspondant is only partially ignored.

actually i tried to make it fairly simple for the jedi on these forums, you have ennough rewards for a profession thats suppose to be hard. now you cry that the last risk you havnt lost should go away and i wanna know what you should lose to go with it? if it hasnt been mentioned to you, ever damn time people cry and reduce risk the jedi as a whole get nerfed.

i became jedi knowing full well that bh went with it. anyone here not know bh and jedi went hand and hand in this game? your whinning about losing the only risk left to jedi, just how much more nerfing do you want?

Read...read and read the original thread....My GOD you look like an ass right now...I knew going jedi meant bh...I didn't know it meant this total junk that exists today with the unbalance bugs exploits and what not...but THAT"S NOT THE POINT OF THIS THREAD!

I liked my bh visits but at the moment its not fair...the planet is poorly thought out for forced PVP and it allows one prof to grief another...and that's just stupid for a company to do to paying customers....I SAID TURN OFF XP LOSS AND GAIN on Mustafar ONLY!!!!!

I'm glad you were aware of the jedi risks..because you certainly were unaware of what you didn't read that I posted to start off this thread...!

I don't think he's 'missing' your point. I don't think he looks like an ass for not articulating it in a way you understand, any more than you look like an ass for not understanding. I think hes trying to tell you he doesn't feel XP loss should be limited to certain planets. It should be all encompassing. Kash was a luck out if anything and it was more because they had issues with the droids working there. Was more shut off due to being an annoyance, than trying to give Jedi a safe haven. The fix isn't real high priority, so its still fairly safe. Not going to happen with Mustafar. They said from the get go Mustafar was fair game. Use your 'alt' (what should actually be your main), go in a group or simply stay off the terms.

For those few who don't seem to undestand or misread my post...

1. I liked the forced PVP BH hunting Jedi scenario....I said it kept me on my toes...I even had fun the night I got 5 bh hits in 90mins...

2. I think Xp loss should be turned off...as well as Xp gain...on Mustafar...or turn off Jedi Marks on Mustafar...and Xp gain for Jedi...

3. There are just way to many issues with the Forced PVP system at the moment...and allowing griefing of new content by SOE is wrong

4. Try and read before you open your mouth and put your foot in...

5. New loot clothing with Prof mods should be wearable by all.

What I didn't say...

1. There should be no visibility at all.

2. Mustafar should become the new grind planet

3. I hate bh visits and don't want any

4. I had no idea what it meant to be a Jedi before I went Jedi.

The people who jump in here and turn the thread around to become something else make me laugh, how self-serving. Most reasonable people can understand that the forced PVP aspect is in shambles at the moment. There are so many issues that are well defined whether people agree or not...what I was saying was turn it off for the new content....the BH can still get his mark and pay..and the Jedi can then just go back to enjoying the new content....

To the guy I told to beat it...ya beat it...out of the thread that is...that first post of yours in here clearly showed you either didn't read the original post all the way through or you didn't understand it.
