Merely saying that a jedi hunting a bounty hunter is not making the game any less like STAR WARS.
I guess you just need it spelled out for you.
EDIT: I doa gree that the missions coming from shrines is weird. There should just be a Jedi npc that gave out missions. Also, since Jedi do not work for creds, we could receive some othertype of reward for completing missions.

Yes they did, in the movies. Are most "Jedi" going to continue to try and use certain parts of the movies to advance their own agenda and ignore other important aspects of the films, or can some actually see past that poor thinking?

Well then Jedi could have an instruction terminal where they get instructions from other Jedi to investigate and take out a bounty hunters that has been murdering fellow Jedi.

How does that fit in with bounties on Jedi being more like a punishment for visibility and not a reward? What other reason is there for this idea except to "get the BHs back"? There isn't, that's the only reason.

The whole idea makes no sense and is just the Jedi being all whiney that their classes have risk attached to them.

Jedi are not Bounty Hunter Hunters.
I agree...Jedi aren't hunters. When our profession's title is changed to "Jedi Hunter" then we can hunt.
Not to offend anyone, but the whole concept of Jedi hunting a Bounty Hunter is laughable. Jedi in the old days...(Ep I-III) might have hunted assassins of the Jedi, but, as you can see, we have no Jedi Order at the moment. Bounty Hunters hunt Jedi because it's a job they can choose under the current set of laws. Vader and the Emperor want all others dead. At least from a roleplaying sense.
On the literal hand, i don't see how 2 professions can be confined to 'hunt' eachother. It doesn't seem logical. Bounty Hunter's do what they do; hunt special target for a large sum of money. Jedi USED to be keepers of the peace...now they are sepratists who can wield the force. If we are going by storyline...a Jedi's duty shoudl be to rebuild the order, and with the FRS turned off...i see that hardly possible. So, we do need something.
But, in conclusion...Jedi shouldn't hunt Bounty Hunters...
Well thank you all for your arguements for and ageinst this idea. It seems upon reading the responces that folk have a good idea of the Jedis place in the game. I guess it apears what is needed is a Force Rank System and an idea about when to gamers shall recieve it. All this mystery and lack of communication from the game creators seems to be what is cause a good deal of the anguish expressed on the forums.
But then as a dark powers person I feel getting revenge to be whats needed sometimes.
