Good guide, btw. And yes, I have already tried the spice thing, lol. Quite fun.

12k ham for 7min?

I would like to try it once just to see the reaction...

But thats alot of spice to buy...

Not expenive though. That's 9 spices and most crates of spice are 10k so 90k for a full crate of each. That's freaken cheap.

I may repec to 0004 smuggler for a day and make me some factory schems of each type.

Yes, it's not all that practical for long-term things..but actually, I would consider it for extreme PvP or something of that sort where you want a quick jump and just the ability to go all out. And a lot of the things you use in the combination of foods/spices last longer than the 7 minutes, so, after you come down off that ridiculous high, you're still pretty high up there. It's fun, but I do prefera mix of some more defensive foods along with buffs to be most effective.

And I never buy my spices now when I have a bunch of factories mass producing

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

Lightsaber Crafting

Pyollian Cake: +15 to the Assembly Roll
Bespin Port: 20fill, +24 to one Experimentation Roll

Checklist for extreme Lightsaber Crafting:
1. Get a +15 Lightsaber Tool.
2. Get an Inspiration Buff from an Entertainer
3. Find a +40-45 Crafting Station placed in a Research Center
4. Create two Crystalpacks
5. Eat a Pyollian Cake and assemble a saber and hope for an Amazing Sucess (if you have plenty of resources you can do this over and over again until your stomach is full)
6. Before each experimentation roll, drink a Bespin Port. If you like, you can sit with your crafting window open in 30min to have stomach space for a Bespin Port for each of the rolls.

This should really improve your chances to a good sucess.

You have to be a resident of the city to receive the bonus from a research facility. In addition the +15 tool and +44.5 station will just decrease the chances of failing. The foods work much like the tools and station to which decrease the failure rate; however, nothing can circumvent the use of excellent resources to craft anything from a saber to a pistol. Without the best resources you will be much more likely to receive critical failures, moderate success and so on. The only profession I've ever noticed any difference on while using foods and the city bonus is Weaponsmith and even using all of that, great resources, great components one still has a moderate chance of less than great success during crafting.

Personally I use the best of resources found on my server and crafted my best post-cu saber, without the food anddrink, which received 3 amazing success in a row with the others being great. Amazing success don't give you anything more than what one would gain from normal great success; however, they take less points to max out the bar(s) that you're investing the experimentation into giving the crafter extra points to dump into other lines. The saber I crafted received two amazing successes on the efficiency (97%) leaving me 5 points to invest into damage or speed. Pre-cu I'd only received one amazing success during saber crafting and the only resource that changed was my titanium which increased in OQ by 80 points.

I know about the Resources. As a guild effort, our guild took the best spawned resources ever.

But you thought me many things I should have known...
