If that helps guys , since its large numbers : i started tuning at July . I have tuned about 50 premiums till now . Crystals or Pearls , doesnt make a diffrence really , as my experience shows (pearls or crystals) . The results are 8 crystals over 40 40 dmg and -9 fc .

3 of them with decimals over -9,5 thus making a 1st generation ls to go from 12 to 2 fc . Also about 10 x -8 fc(4 are -8,5 + ) , another6 with -9 but dmg lower than 40 40 . So my presentage of tuning premiums and get a good fc ( -8 or -9 ) is about 50% . As numbers are large , i think i can contribute to come to a conclusion for tunning .

I gave up on tuning anything less than premium. Me and a couple of guildmates bought like 30 quality crystals, and not a single one tuned well. That was on top of a ton of other quality crystals and pearls we'd tuned as wel. I've only had a couple of premium tunes go horribly wrong.

I would have to say tuning is random........last night I tuned a premium and got 14\14 -4, after that I tuned a fair and got 47\47 -8. As of late my best tunes have been from good and fair crystals

Being a NOOB jedi myself, I am starting to belive that it is RANDOM. I can tune a fair crystal one day & get junk. The next day I tune another fair & get decent stats, so that leads me to believe that like smuggler slices it is all RANDOM.

But what do I know? I'm a NOOB jedi

I have the luck line and all 12 twelve damage crystlas I have tuned all suck and they suck hard. Half the crystals have between damage -4/-4 to -1/-1. Some of them have no damage mods, the last few have damage mods but 0 to -2 force use. I would have to say my best crystal is 0/0 damage mods, no speed mod roughly -2 to all ham costs and -7 force cost. Best damage crystal is +26/+26 no speed, ham betwenn -1 and -3 adn no force cost mods. I would be so happy if I could just get 1 crystal with something like 20 to 30 damage, a bit of speed off.. say 0.2 ham about -2 and force use -5 or -6 but I don't think that will happen anytime soon.

Last night I tuned 2 premium pearls, scored 42/42 -9 and 44/44 -9. Both take 10 fc off my sabre. Tonight tuned 2 more premiums 17/17 -7 and 28/28 -4. All 4 came from Canyon Krayt Dragons and all four are very similar condition wise.

Seems random to me.

i have been jedi for very short time but here is what my tuning has been thus far...you can tell me if i've been lucky or unlucky

bout 7 or 8 good crystals most of them were like 1/1 damage or so with 0 to -2 fc, but one of them(the very first crystal i ever tuned) was 32/32 -8 fc and another was 25/25 -5 fc

4 qualities i think all were between 10/10 to 20/20 damage with like -2/-2/-4/-7 as force costs

1 premium -37/-37, its says -7 fc but when i put it in my saber it actually gives -8.......anyone else had this happen?

as far as the luck boxes i have the very first luck box is all, so +1 luck

Pearls and crystals have hidden decimals on force cost, so the actual best tune is a -9.9. I really dont feel anything helps the tuning process, its a dice roll. You at least have a decent crystal to grind with.

Ok, I've tuned probably 15 crystals of varying qualities and gotten differnt stats for each one. Do you stand a better chance with your tunes with a specific skill? For example, a padawan at novice saber tunes a crystal and get say 33 min/max and 0 force cost. Is there any skill that gives you a chance at a better tune or is it just luck of the draw on the crystals?
