Considering how much our profession has been nerfed over the last couple of months, I find it ludicrous that you would actually advocate more of the same. Or is it your opinion that the logical and "calm" posts of the pasts did anything for us recently other than not getting pearl drops fixed,losing the mabari belts, getting AI nerfed, getting cloak nerfed, and getting enhancer nerfed.. to name just a few of the things that have been done to our profession recently?

Come on _Cicero_, you know its not the regular Jedi posters doing this. Check their post history from them, they are doing it to the BH boards as well, and getting them worked up about it and blaming Jedi overall (like they alwasy do).

This is so cant win. Jedi blaming Jedi on the Jedi boards for this, and BH blaming Jedi on the BH boards for this. Jedi is such a scapegoat for people's ignorance.

2. A public meeting or presentation involving a discussion usually among experts and often including audience participation. I wouldn't presume to call anyone here an expert. But if you're old enough to type a message, you're old enough to have an opinion. Express it.


3. A court of law; a tribunal. I think this would be a good point to bring up the "flaming" and verbal assalts on the development team and community relations officials. I do agree there is a lack of communication at times, especially during trying hours. I also understand Tigg's point that they are gathering information for the development team during this time. As I'm sure since it's their whole job to relate with the community, the development team would not possibly have the time to come read all these forums. I believe SOE would do well to increase its staff and have someone relay the development teams information back to the community, since we do make Tiggs job hard enough with all the comments we give for her to relay to them. But as it stands now, this appears to be their tribunal, and according to the dictionary, this is a place for such commentary.

I have all the respect in the world for the people with red names, they put up with a lot of crap from a community they're trying to serve. And this stuff surely doesn't make their jobs easier. I'm grateful for their work, they have provided me with a game experience unlike any I've ever had before, there have been trying times, but I still play and so do all of you atm. there's something greater than content that keeps us here, and I for one have no intention of going anywhere.

I'm not going to deny that. But further follow their posts if you care to. Most were constructive at one point. They've lost hope and find most entertainment lies in pvf (for non-shadowfirians thats player vs forums). They've found ways to entertain themselves with stupid forum groups (o' rly / ya' rly ... no wai / ya wai ... and some gimpy oss created group). And its honestly no harm/no foul.

But when the changes came down the pipe most of us talked about them in game and hated them. Several of us have given feedback and in typical dev fashion, they've ignored us (along with everyone else posting on the subjects). And in the interrum we've taken to having fun in the only fashion left.

Why would we enjoy a game that is changing daily? How can we when there is no clear vision of the future, let alone tomorrow?

If you want to get serious, lets do it. But I will not sit here and bs with someone that is more than likely a fan of limited risk and full reward. If I've stereotyped you, I appologize, but 90% of all jedi today want things given to them on a silver platter. Most of these shadowfire peps posting are old school. We've done virtually all of it. And we're in playing together. That is where our fun comes from and that is why its spilled over to here (and there...and everywhere).

I think saying 90% of jedi today is not accurate at all. There are far more that just lost hope in the dev community to even post anymore. In any case the same can be said about any profession now using forum logistical numbers.

I was once constructive and idealistic, I lost it all when I saw over the past year plus all great ideas ignored and flushed.

Then we're really not that different. There are days I sit in game with these people that are trolling and we just shoot the shiz about old times. Hell, I lost track of the time the other night with alena, just talking about some of the good times.

I think you'd relate to this. This game has no future. Why? Because there doesn't seem to be one planned. There is absolutely nothing preventing sony from just talking to us on a lvl we can relate to. They hide behind legalese and shallow promises. The worst thing (in my opinion) they did was fire/get rid of callandryl (or whatever his name was). He was a straight shooter and during his brief time here, he won me back.
