This sad story has also happened on Radiant. NOBODY wants to capture these bases and turn them over to their own faction because they will lose the best holocron farming places in the game. The rebels lose out in this case because on every server just about every base save one (or maaaybe two) is under Rebel control, giving Imperials several static bases to farm holos. Plus, they can spawn reb surface marshalls from missions.
But yes, thanks for posting all these places that you can obtain holocrons, this post is very much appreciated.

It can even be worse. There was a Rebel who farmed about 50 holos. He got mad at other Rebs accussing him of K'sing so he switched to Imp. Then he and his new imp friends would clear and hold the base while his still Reb friends farmed the holos. its a load of BS

One additional location is teh dark jedi outside the jedi temple ruins. He will give you a jedi padawan mission where you must kill the jedi and return with his braid. Simply destroy the braid and cancel the mision with the dark jedi when you complete. The dark Jedi is the opposite direction of the waterfall cave and he is sitting next to a small fire. I can confirm as of 1 month ago they do drop holos.
One question: The dark Jedi master missionfrom the prison mentioned earlier. Are those imperial only missions or can anyone do them?

You just said Jedi...There are Light Jedi AND Dark Jedi....dont forget dark....plus a Jedi Guardian is mastered in the ways of the lighter for attack and defence....using a light saber to harm somone isnt violence is it?

They should have added the Sentinal, Guardian, and Consular. Since a Jedi must choose which part of the force he or she will be proficent in.
I still wonder why they would have two sets of holocrons, Sith and Jedi....unless its for some future patch and their true uniqeness hasnt been implimented, or its their to throw us all off and make false rpesumptions and troll the forums
