What about saber animation. Will they put all the old saber animations (dervish2, etc)into the new system? Or will we be stuck with only 2 different saber animations like they did when the first CU was released.

Good Info!
Just logged off TC. By the way the Mining Outpost is starting to come to life. I actually had a bol grinding party out on dantooine. Tell you what, Dantooine is a dangerous place at level 9. Anyways, we wasted some bols, and after some carpal tunnel syndrome, I leveled at level 9 with about 6 hours of gameplay.
First things first.
1. There's no more templates anymore. So you can't go up the Defender Tree or the Healer Tree or Lightsber tree. It's a linear progression.
2. No Decay. I've died alot trying to get to my bol missions by Level 60 Pikets, Mokks, Quenkers randomly spawning around. In fact there's no insurance terminals at cloning centers.
3. No Wounds. No Wounds from cloning.
4. Make sure you go through the whole space station tutorial. I was able to get:
Melee Defense +2 Bracelet
Agility +3 Bracelet
Endurance +1 Sun Cap
Melee Defense +2 Necklace
Strength +3 Belt
Strength +3 Ring
Accuracy +2 Ring
So not bad for a level 9 running around with lots of mods already.
Paddy Robe +10 Agility
5. You're specials are tied to the "right hand mouse button" so to cycle aura, er Center of Being, you have to right click, and for your power attack click on special then right click. A lot of clicking. I haven't been able to get a macro bound special to work so that it auto-cycles just like on live. (You know Aura, Infusion, Armor, etc... macro...)
6. Unkonwn.? 1.5x combat ability. Granted it feels like a pre-cu unlock where a stiff wind will knock you down. Soooo. Perhaps I am wrong in this part.
7. Everything is Mouse Based. Everything. I got tired clicking clicking clicking clicking. Couldn't find the /follow command on the abilities page. I haven't tried auto-target. It was hard enough to find the target. Remember to click click click.
8. Keymap is WASD based, so you have to REBIND everything when you logon. No option to go to "StarWars Classic" Keymap.
10. Shrines? I don't know or haven't died near one.
11. Crystals? Don't know
12. Pearls? Don't know
13. Basically you're a TKA until a high level when you can get your first lightsaber.
14. You're specials both work with TKA weapons and Pistols. I have a carbine, but not level 10 to test it yet. Oh haven't found weaponsmiths either
15. A lot of Paddy's were wielding pistols as pistols coupled with the offensive buff jedi special is a nice combo. Pistols fire fast. And when mobs get close, switch to knuckler and run your center of being.
16. Groups I think cap out at 8 still. Biggest group i had was 6, and it seems like groups would be the same at 8.
17. The loot function is borked. There's no auto-loot function. The lootwindow keeps on popping up and getting in the way of the screen. And since you need the mouse to click pummel/shoot. It's very very bad.
18. UNBIND SPACE BAR. You randomly jump all the time. Funny at first but gets very annoying.
19. If you head to Test Center. Type /claim once you land planet side. You'll get your reward pets (i.e. if you have ROTW/TOOW) that'll help you travel. You do get an XP-38 at Mos-Eisley. But it's better to get a spare as artisans are rare.
20. 2x incap. Yep. New rule 2x incap and your a corpse. Annoying really. 2x incap is in effect for 120 seconds from incap. YOU NEED A HEALER.
21. Overall it's a different type of game. Every jedi will have the same template. Powers, Enhancers, Lightsaber, etc.. Mixed in. Biggest difference is that there is NO HEALER. You can't heal yourself, so say goodbye to those 1500 point heals.
22. Stimpacks are sold by dealers at the space dungeon. Make sure you buy some as this is the only way to heal. No Force Heal. Well since stims are sold by dealers say goodbye to our friends, the Master Bio Engineers.
23. Loot is fairly good. I was able to loot the +1 Endurance Sun Cap. And mobs are dropping really useful loot (Stims, Buffpacks). Be careful when you sell loot to junk dealers as they'll also buy your stat modded clothing.
24. Again this is only from a Level 9 perspective. So take it with a grain of salt. Oh, and don't have to worry about some odd corner in rori to grind as you don't get group visibility or visibility period as Player bounties are gone.
25. It seems that leveling via quests is much faster than bol killing. Although Bol killing is still a fun past-time. After you leave the space station, you can probably head to the Mining Outpost as groups are starting to form to power level.
Well that's my initial thoughts. Haven't really played enough (only 6 hours) to really make a good decision. It looks okay, but there's a lot of getting used to. I hope that they bring the old interface back and that defensive buffs can still be macro'd. There is just way too much clicking. If you can help me in this regard, maybe I may stay a little bit longer....

ok so far ive found that when you become a a jedi you get a vibro knuckler to use. you cant actually make your lightsaber until CL 38
you gain skill "boxes" at certain CL's now. you start out basically as a Tk in a paddy robe. this has probably been covered but if theres anyone in the dark ill try to help out.
w00t my knucklers of the katarn will still be of some use!
