For some reason I thought if you couldn't be targetted you wouldn't draw the typical aggro either, boy was I wrong. Great job on this publish

hehe you can pretty much use every command ona cloaked player except for /target name lol

My only issue with it is that people can shuttle, interact with terms, and open up containers while cloaked. Is this intended?
It wasn't for smugglers while FD, but we all know how "working as intended" FD is/was.

The skill is described as "this ability allows the jedi to cloud the minds of those nearby into not seeing the jedi. This skill will cause considerable drain on force if there are mutliple players or mobs in the area." Feign Death is described as "the command that allows the smuggler the ability to appear incapacitated" (Taken from an SWG character builder site).
So I'm afraid I don't see the similarity to Feign Death...cloak simply hides the jedi from view. As it is located in the Powers prof, which only has damage dealing skills, I view it as a first strike capability in non-BH engagements and one to gain the upper hand in BH encounters where the BH's first strike was less than successful.

cloaked players should be able to interact with terms, open containers and shuttle while cloaked... no explanation has been offered to suggest they shouldn't.
as long as shuttle load killing remains a major design flaw with star wars galaxies, the ability of cloakers to travel by starship terminal while cloaked protects them from exploitation by unscrupulous load killers.

Im after some info from you guys, looking at adding cloak to my template as im bored of my template,
Master LS Master Defender enhancer 0002 and healer 3000 could be the most boring template ever and after 5 months with it its time to make a change so was wondering before I do, how does cloak work?
1) when can you cloak?
2) What can stop you cloaking ?(states etc)
3) whats the force drain like?
4) How long can you hold cloak up for?
5) what can you do when you are cloaked?
6) any other info?
If cloak is as good as it sounds was thinking trying Master LS enhancer 4404 powers 0400 healer 4000
which would give me enough skill points for one more level 1 skill any ideas? and 5 skill points left over.
My first template plan was Master LS master Enhancer healer 4000 and powers 0400 but 2 skill points short which is a real bitc2 as i think that would of been a great template.

I was MLS for a long period of time and get bored by it also? so I understand u.
Regarding cloak :
1) any time as u'r not less then 20m from any NPC or other player, eaven if u'r KD.
2) low force, a NPC | a player within 20m.
3) aceptable, but having 4+ NPC/players/ any animals near u will drain u'r force fast. I've runned in Spiderclan cave with cloak and lost 50% of force in 3 minutes. Unfortunatly, mobs (non-NPC) will aggro u, and will follow u in most cases, making u to loose force fast.
4) as long as u have force.
5) just keep in mind that cloak is for recon or for escaping. Its not u'r main weapon. Also - u'll be "visible" if u have bleeding and all like it - it will not be possible to target u, not possible to fire on u, but it is possible th track u, to see - were u go.
And - the mostly depressing for me - mobs will aggro u, and will follow u - the force will go down really fast.

First thing to consider. To get Cloak it takes alot of Skill points so to get cloak you either Choose less offence or less defence.
Being a split template is hard as to have master defender and a good pffence i have 0401 LS witch really hurts me speed and accuracry wise. To the point where im getting rid of sabers all togther and going hybrid.
but to answer your questions.
1. You can cloak as long as theres nothing {NPC PC or animal or Bike} within 20m of you.
2. No states stop cloak. just something being within 20m of you
3.The force drains mulitplies with the number of NPC's or PC's near you. {But as long as you have Force Channel you could be in the middle of Cnet with 10 Overts standing ontop of you and keep up with the drain)
4. Cloak as long as you want But if you have a attack Qd's up if someone AOE's you when you auto attack it will break the cloak.
5. anything but attack something cause if you do it will uncloak you.
6. Cloak is by far the coolest thing in the game it allows you to pick your PVP and avoid gank groups but you will be giving up stuff to get it. I suggest keeping master sabewr if you wanna compete.
And if you go without Defender and just use Force armor remeber Cloak is gonna drain your force and so will force armor you will also be less overall force not having 2 master boxes. witch means lots of channeling
