In the context of new development methods adopted within the past year by the studio responsible for Star Wars Galaxies, which a year ago saw several drastic changes to the game-world's overall experience, SOE's John Blakely and Todd Fiala issued a warning: "Don't make our mistakes."

While back (before pub 20) there was a stickie at the top about FRS.. and on there some valid questions and so forth.. One reply on it was from Baciacca.. that mentioned, "when i know something, you will know something."

After Tanks leak(oh, i'm sorry I mean his mistyping that he never does).. and Baciacca STATING that he needs to see what he can say and can't say on the FSR, tells me without a doubt that Baciacca does know stuff and being bind or not by any agreement with the Dev's.. is not sharing anything.

I understand that if he wants to keep his position as a Coor he has to abide by the agreements and leash the Dev's have on him. And no means am I pissed or upset or even wishing he or anyone wasn't doing what he does. What I'd like to see though is a posting of apology on his lie to us on his statment he made on the FRS(keeping us informed).

I'd WISH to know more of the FSR.. but I know that will NOT happen til the dev's are done with whatever they are doing, and they start working on the FSR(Baciacca even quoted a dev saying they haven't started work on it yet, IF it wasn't a coverup up a leak)..

Like many of us jedi that aren't the FOTM/FTW template of defender.. 1v1 pvp ranking of FRS is going to make us either become the same template(or close to it) just to rank up, or fight clubs start again. Being one against fight clubs for it degrades the proffesion and the integrity of Jedi. As well as TOTALLY against being any FOTM.. I'd like to know where its heading so I know if it's worth the time to grind out my jedi any further and thenhang up and not play again, or turning it anto a Hybrid(seeing jedi crying to nerf thier own proff so much we'll end up just another harder to get normal proff).

I'm expecting the flames and so on.. so go for it.. only reply I'll make to this again would be a thanks to Bac for the apology or if hell freezes over, a thanks for any info on FSR(will BH kills count, fight club not a vaild option etc.).

I think that whatever he knows is covered by his NDA with SOE. I'm guessing Bacc won't be the first to tell us. There will probably be an announcement that they are implementing a new FRS on a certain date once they have had the time to get it approved, code it, test it, and then there will be an annoucement. Then Bacc's life becomes misery until people get used to the new FRS, whatever that is.

I can't wait to see how it comes out.

I'm gonna say similar to the old one, with the same maintenance cost and xp cost, but somehow without fightclubbing and including the new xp 'fix'.

Anyone knows when SOE will put in game the new frs?

I'd heard some rumours about it and it willbeprobably for December, in Christmas.
