holy long post batman.....posting bout this **edit** aint gonna make a diffrence...once people realize that we dont matter to the devs....our opinions are not considered at all...we can all move on from this game and quit....maybe by doing so we will see them change it back to the way we want the game to be....but too many people are thick headed and dont understand simple concepts like these

Read the post next time. It was a story as many others posted. More sharing their experiences and memories they had. Memories it seems players like you will never have. As Te'mo said,I waspart of the greatest era this game will ever see. So, just remember when the 15th hits, and you finalize the respec for your Jedi toon, you will never have the sense of accomplishment or memories we have had....

I have thousands of SCREENSHOTS nobody will ever take them from me ever .... and all of these screenshots are a stage of the game I loved so much. Nobody can take these screenshots ever have that in mind and you will just feel as sad/happy as we do

May the Force be with you ....always

Well said. I support your words 100% and encourage the rest of the veteran jedi to do the same. When I think of what a jedi is, and what it means to be a jedi, the last thing that comes to mind is a selfish whiney cry baby that cant be as uber as he or she wants to be.

I was a very early unlocker on my server, pre patch 9 and I was the first rebel jedi to enter the pvp stage on a full time basis. My lightsaber, was the first lightsaber I had ever seen in SWG. I remember the days when I could storm into coronet and single handedly save some rebel players from a group of 20 imperials.

But those days are over now. Do I wish I could have them back? Yes I do. Would I chose to regain that era if it meant that so many others may not have the same opportunity to be a jedi like I did? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Being a jedi isnt about being powerful. Its not about selfish, its not about being famous or gaining noteriety, its about making a difference, at least thats the way I always looked at it. It is true however that being a jedi did make me powerful, and it certainly did make me quite a bit more famous then I had ever wanted, but, this should not be our concern as a profession.

All in all, I think the changes are good for the game, and good for the community, and as one of the first Jedi Guardian 4/4/4/4 on my server, and likely in SWG, I welcome this new era, and hope to continue to train and develop new members to our class.

May the force be with the good guys and poop on the bad guys!

Not to take off from teh OP, which I totally agree with, I rember the first time i saw a jedi in Cor, I was WOW and i was running my butt off trying to catch up to the throng of people to just get a look, I didnt care to fight or to kill her and actually I wanted to see her wipe those people out there were trying to kill her lol.

But I digress, lol I was posting to taurels post. Lo he is so far from his post its not even funny, he was all but ran out of kauri and my understanding he sold or was trying to sell his jedi to move to a diffrent server, one that he didnt get busted haveing illiciate chat with a man on lol. Something about Stinky finger ... lol Taurel was the worst kind of jedi, he was nothing like his post and stood for nothing of what the OP had to say in way of words or emotions. He is the type of jedi that makes you realize why people hate us, gank squads and fight clubbing. No telling how many times I saw him stand back while his group would incap someone and he would run up for the DB and other things to get his title. Hes not good people lol.

I never went after jedi for leet status or anything like that. I was fascinated with jedi and there abilities and they are the main reason I started SWG and the reason for the long hours I would stay up until the wee hours of the morning and sometimes get alittle grinding on dureing lunch. It has been very dissapointing how they have changed us and the people that played jedi. We ust to be a open class of people (I say class, it takes alot from a person to put up with the ingame stuff that we had to, harraseing and everything else)and jedi has changed alot of us, lacking trust and even openness towards our fellow players, we chose to be jedi we didnt choose for everything that sony piled on us afterwards.I dont think were an elite class and we stopped being an alpha along time ago. But we were just a target for alot of unhappy people to put there blame on us for the state of the game. The OP stated it well, we were happy with our situation along time ago and didnt ask but to be able to be what sony had promised we would be nothing more nothing less.

Anyway Ill part here, I was not looking forward to the changes but was willing to give it a chance until I logged onto Corbantis, it was very sad to see the apect of the game that I have put many hours into be useless and far worse then we have ever imagined it could be. Sad when we can use a pistol and get more xp then we can with a saber, our chosen weapon. I really dont think we will see tha tmany respec jedi after they try it for a few days, I think they will not hesitate to change lol.

Being a jedi isnt about being powerful. Its not about selfish except in my case it's about being a horrible liar with a huge ego problem, its not about being famous or gaining noteriety, its about making a difference, at least thats the way I always looked at it. It is true however that being a jedi did make me powerful, and it certainly did make me quite a bit more famous but my naughty MT was what gave me more fame then I had ever wanted, but, this should not be our concern as a profession.

Nice try T, just let me edit that a bit for the sake of honesty. If u could just for once stop being such a tool and feeding the whole SWG community your BS, perhaps u might find a server to play on where ppl can actually stand u.

Well I don't know anything about that fellow, but it still doesnt change the fact that we're all in the same sinking ship.

When I wrote this post I was incredibly confident and positive, but as the days have passes my morale(as well as so many others) has drastically dropped.

I'm not angry. But I am sad about all of the misleading, and the way Jedi seems to be on the TCs right now.

I guess I will just wait and see what my toon morphs to the day of the patch. I'm not getting my hopes up tho.

You sound very, deep, I suppose the word would be. You take Jedi seriously, even though this is just a game. I bet, your one of the rare Jedi, who, dress, like a Jedi. And I don't mean just wearing the Padawan Robes, but wearing a cloak, and all that Jedi stuff. My friend, Dagae, is like that. He would write something like this. Your the type of Jedi that I look up to in SWG, I see you guys, and I think,

"Wow, being Jedi is so cool, Jedi are awesome."

Some of you might think all that is corny, but, not me. I really enjoyed reading your story.

I look up to you, Elder Jedi.

OP /deepbow

I for one started SWG to late to start the Holo grind my friend told me of this SW MMORPG and said he got a screenshot of a JEDI and i loved this idea to play the jedi on a Community bases however i got on only to learn of a new path to unlock so i grinded TKM/DOC hunted to get Janta buffs and grinding village Dath was my home for a very long time grineding the fastest easiest way i knew how.

As time went on the CU came and went ppl got mad but thinkgs settled down and life went on and i got mu Jedi in july so now time togrind this is my story

I had met some Jedi and friends via Guild and solo groups but Cu changed the battle system all together and i had to adapt so when i got my Jedi i started Spining Groups out of Soul City Dant i met a many Friends of the Guild of this city from Cobe, tocahone, Jadeez(Solo Group Friend) and as i grinded Jedi i helped many of non Jedi unlock there jedi.

Even after i got templated l retemped tomls 4340def enh 4002 heal 4000 so that i could help younger padis grind and templated once all my friends had templated i stop and started PVP with them and against them (im Reb Some Great Friends Are Imp) But that fact is the Same I like the PPL weather there Reb or Imp Jedi or not If there kind to me and we get along then i help them neway i can i got 8 banes hearts for friends of mine free of charge to help them out.

But i supose the point to my story is The People of the Game are more importent to me as PPL then there Prof Jedi Respec Cu Pre pub 9 pub 10 or whatever or when ever u unlocked treat ppl with respect or expect to be hated and flamed

So OP May The Force Be With You
