You didn't get the memo stating we all need to slag off the jedi proffesion as much as possible until everyone falls dead at a jedi's feet just by being targetted by them? And what is with all this TKA can kill a Jedi crap? haha. Someone once heard someone else say TKA's were overpowered. Someone else parroted it. And since then it's become gospel and it'sthe first thing any ignorant screwball posts when they want to back up whatever ridicluous point they are trying to make.
TKA's can't do jack to a Jedi unless that jedi doesn't have armor on. People forget that TKA's can only do Kintetic damage - that's it. And any fool with 80% kineticresist armorand doctor buffs can stand TEFed, go afk for a cup of coffee while a TKA is beating on him, come back 15 minutes later and find his HAM has barely moved. Well, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration but seriously, unless the person is not in Composite armor the TKA has a hard time taking him down. The TKA's only saving grace was the ability to KD/dizzy. When someone is flat on their back the TKAgets the full combat bonus. Only problem is with the introductionof KD defense food TKA's (and all KD classes) have been indirectly nerfed. I now rarely use TKA for anything but PvE here and there and the defense bonuses are nice. But as for being an offensive PvP class - it is not except for rare circumstances.

Actually I believe it was tested by a Jedi Guardian. Try using the search function. Then again, why would anyone who hates Jedi want to do a search for something that would prove themself to be uninformed.

Ok ok, where it comes from is from initial test with a Padawan vs a TKA master. BOTH deal Kinetic damage. BOTH buffed to max, wearing superb (85%) Kinetic.
The TKA won. Why? Because the Mindblast and Jedi KD did not stick, and the Jedi ran out of force power. The TKA was also a Medic and healed off the damage to himself every 15 seconds , and used KD/Dizzy on the Jedi- used a Unarmed Lunge 2 to get the Jedi knocked down. It was a DECISIVE victory for the TKA. The TKA can technically 'kite' using Unarmed Lunge 2.
However- as you say, this was also when KD food was not common. Most Jedi worth their salt use the KD defence food with 95% bonus or so to KD defence. And 20% dizzy defence. So now it becomes Dizzy/POSTURE CHANGE to get a Jedi on their back 
That still works...
Keep in mind the TKA damage mitigation 3 and 74% unarmed toughness on top of 85% kinetic armor reduces lightsaber damage to about 80 pts/hit. Now, against a 4/4/4/4 guardian with much higher Lightsaber toughness, then the Jedi start shrugging off most the TKAs' damage, with their super high buffs healing it back about as fast as the TKA can deal it. BUT we are also talking one profession who to get to Jedi Guardian 4/4/4/4 is a absolutely insane amount of combat xp (3 months hard grind??), vs a TKA Master who can get to master in about a week , casually, or 3 days hard grind. And a TKA weapon is pretty cheap compared to a5th gen pearl lightsaber.
So a near MasterJedi should be pretty damn tough, IMHO...

He is one of VERY FEW jedi who admit that Jedi are incredibly powerfull. Most jedi feign impotence.
