Yeah this all cool and that anyone else think you should be able to trade Jedi exp for FS exp?

You get 1 exp point for each +10 exp (FS is general crafting so it applies to ALL crafting)..I know everyone here has heard of 12 point WS, well master WS only gives 10 exp point. This is exactly why holo-grinding should have never been removed. Please if you are not familiar with crafting do not respond.
12 point weaponsmiths are created by having +20 in Skill Enhancing Attachments, usually several clothing attachments with Weapon Experimentation + something. Those, and armor experimentation skill tapes are some of the most valuable loot items that are still in game. If Force Sensitivity gave experimentation points you'd have heard of +13 and +14 weaponsmiths. You don't.

how much would a +8 help if i am master lightsabers?
will help you about 80% towards 1 more experiment point. You need +10 for each extra point. So +20 is all a master sabers needs to get the max, which is 12 experiment points...

think a 0004 gets 75 lightsabre experimentation
each 10 gives you one point to use in expeimenting, rounded down
so a 0004 would need
+5ls experimentation CA to get 8experimentation points
+15..............................................9..............................
+25...............................................10................................
etc to 12 experimental points which is max
a mls get 100 lightsaber experimentation
so a mls would need
+10ls experimentation CA to get 11experimentation points
+20..............................................12..............................

When I was MLS I crafted a ton of sabers maxing out SAC and putting the rest of the points in Damage, untill I got amazing successes. I then got ahold of a 23 point suit and did the exact same thing with the exact same resources. By wearing the suit I got about 8 more damage out of my LS. So long story short, I was unimpressed at the difference the 2 extra experimentation points did. However, If you have the points to use, by all means use them.

experimenting damage is useless because your pearls control all of that, if you put it all into efficiency and the remainder into speed, you will end up with a better saber.

So at xxx4 LS I get 7 points, and if I were to use +25 port, I should get 10 correct?
If this is the case, it doesn't work, because even with drinking port, I only get 7. /ponder.

port is just used to have a better chance of exp./amazing succes... nothing more..
it does not affect how many pts you have to use.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. There is a reason I am not a crafter.....

With MLS, Tapes, and force speed I can cap speed without useing any experimentation points in speed. So in my case, useing exp points in speed is useless
