so tanilith give me some suggestion what do i do when they come for me? Ive tried running using burst run, and foods but im not sure if there is an art to running away with my tail firmly set between my legs. Especially when they root me or snare me and i cant get away fast enough as they pelt me with their high damage dealing weapons. I hear all about getting force run but i was really trying to go master ls, master def, heal 3xxx and enhance xxx2, should i rethink that. Do we all have to have the same template to survive?

Tanilith bro your MLS right? If so why are you slowing yourself down with Power Attack? Ive found I can do more damage alternating Head Body and Leg on a KD. You do less damage over time tring for those Power Attacks. Just take that hit outta your PvP bar right now Try it you'll see it.

Hmm your template is a quite impressive tank but it lacks some of the skills I really enjoy and often need in pvp. Root and Force run. You have Force wave which should help a bit. Your best chance is to wave them knock them down and burst run away using burst run food.

Some templates are useless against Combat Medics.

There are many variables to take into account other than just the players skill.

Overall template choice.
Saber stats.
Food choice.

What he said, I removed that as soon as I got MLS.
I am still thinking of a way to kill those good BH's. Usually I know my way around in pvp. I know which states I can aply and what they do. I know my food chart and most of the time my foes weaknesses. BUT I can't for my life defeat a BH/CM with good armor break sliced armor and stims with ruby.
The old half health KD kill doesn't work for two reasons. Well maybe three.
First they hardly ever go down to 50% health and even then I do about 500 damage only. (620modified dps)
Second IF they get kd'ed down with half health they simply use a stim for free and are up and kicking again.
Third LAG is a real killer for me. I knock someone down, line up hits and PANG he slides 20m away leaving me sitting in the dust.

The worst I ever fought was a (not a bh just overt) TKM with Doc and at least a profession which allows him to use recon armor.
It was fully sliced and capped armor, combine with insane heals, CoB and armor break on me = lotsa damage on me = me running with my tail between my legs.

see thats just it it almost seems we have to all go for the same template in order to survive in pvp. ive heard argumenst to the contrary but most oppions seem in favor. either no one knows how to use their template, except for a select few, or there is only one template that is decent for pvp. and since jedi is really all about pvp then it would seem we all need that same template. not to detract from the original intent of this post but i wouldnt mind some feedback or ideas about that.

Heh yeah but thats the nature of the beast.
If every template would be as good as the other why have them at all then.

Sure it would be better for a rock scissor way, like one temp will most likely beat those while others are seemingly invincible for them.

It exists a little bit already with master powers. A master power guy will loose against a MLS Jedi most of the time.
BUT he won't have much trouble slicing apart any non Jedi, where MLS struggle.

reason being is this:

With MLS / +25 Gen melee speed +25 2 Hand LS speed / and +20 Combat speed (Force Speed) that Zip line goes really fast 9when you aren't bugged). In my expirience the best way to kill a non - jedi is basically a shock and awe technique:

Get them 1/3 to 1/2 the way down, make sure they are armor broken and then hit them with Saber Throw (KD) / Saber hit (v. fast hit) / followed by Powerhit (V. high damage). This kills them before they have a chance to get off their back. They are jamming on the KD recovery button so fast that they don't get that final heal in.

Main thing here is you have to learn where you opponent heals mentally. Does he heal at 1/2? 2/3'rds full? 1/3 full? and then use that to your advantage. But don't get me wrong I def know about mixing Head and Body hit into the mix the rest of the time.

I Honestly dont know what kind of BH, like Regen, You have been comming up with Ventalador, but if he ran you through One force pool he'll run you through another that you replennish with the holocron. His mind isnt dipping, he can chugg ALL day and keep up his barrage, while You cannot. You cant get him down past half health to use any effective combo. Especially Not the... erm, rather lame one you were suggesting above to us like we were noobs hun. We just cant get significant dammage past that super armor with its super anti AB slice. He barely needs to Use stims. You manage to get him down near a 1000 health, and he still heals 2k-ish before you can finnish the job even with him on his back from a KD. Then he's Up healed, and reaplying his anti speed buff stuff on you.

You wont be Beating this BH. Im tellin yah, and Im no slouch at PvP.

i'm on eclipse also, but i've never heard of this regen person, then again i'm not in the eclipse social loop.. had my fair share of BH/MCM fights, longest has been with trodad and thats because he kept trying to kite, incapped him twice before i got in a deathblow..stupid ability where heals go off, after they are incapped..is just dumb. and i have seen you arond Alaria..hehe.

To start: I have fully adk'd ris with 6556 all around, full amorbreak and 1 dmg absorb... on top of that I have +25 in every usable stat for my templete. Then all my BE stuff is 1200+ and I only use that for jedi.

Now that is not easy to get without time...

I also have a carb with these stats 1.87 spd, 454-1063 dmg, 61 acc, and 405 dps with 80 sac(this is base.. with my pups and mod my dps is over 1000)(and am a bothan so my sac regenartes very well). And always use a Droid that was custom built and kicks ass.

Now I must say first off... I have pretty much the best you can get (not the best possible but close).

So before you whine I ask.... do you have full tapes? do you use droids? Basically are you a walking uber jedi as far as it is possible?

If not then you need to think, should an average jedi... be able to handle a uber as possble BH with all the best stuff that knows how to pvp?

Now on to what you want to hear....

What has hurt me?

Smart Jedi donot try to kill me.... they try to kill my mind! My mind is gone... I am dead.

My ticks alone will not kill you (and mine usually hit for 360 - 400 each).

What kills you is my timing... ie. I take protein or steak. while laying states and doing non-sac shots.. and wait till the moment my dots tick.. then blam KD / critical - torso - critical - torso... I know when my ticks tick and have a timer built in so i get the "ring" 5 seconds before they do. (this has been through alot of testing)

Fist smart thing I seen jedi do.... time my ticks and run before they hit... this way I cannot "stack" my damage to get a quick kill!!!

Next my damage is coming in bursts... due to timing with ticks.

Second smart thing I have seen jedi do .... steak or protien at KD. This also screws my damage loads cause my carb hits for next to nothing

I could go on and on of how a jedi can beat a MCM ... but will not

I wrote these 2 just to prove a point.

I have had many jedi "cry" overpowered after I have killed them... then I just laugh becuase the donot know how to play, the simply think I can stand there take food and lay damage.

Did you do the 2 things I mentioned.... did you take protein or steak right before your ticks (so the weapons would not give a huge time drain)

If you did please tell...

If not learn how to play... before crying
