Just use a blaster or sword in the mean time till u can use your saber. Jedi can use any kind of weapon with this system and doesnt affect xp. In fast, range fighting is much more dominent anyway.
well, we had Jedi with Comp armor for awhile... and Master Rifle jedi for awhile..... why not jedi with fulll time rifles.... did I mention thati thought FPS SWG is gonna be **edit** ?

Why do they implement such things without thinking about the design at all?

That is so horrably gay!!! Why does Luke have to be the poster boy for the Jedi profession? What if I do want to be a Jedi, but I don't want to be like Luke? The cool thing about SWG back in the day was that players could create their own destiny. That interface is pathetic! You're going to loose plenty of devoted clients once this thing goes through. I guarantee it.

I guess they are really trying to push this game to the PS2 and the new 1... This is the death of a great game. Just sad that they have no respect for the this game or its players anymore.

Wow that was some flash back.
I'm 39 have played this for 2years.Those screen shots made me feel 14 again on my commadore 64.
Do we really have to make the game more childish.
I have been an addicted computer gamer ever since invaders and pac man were out i have to say that the depth,difficulty variety, and roll playingkept me playing SWG all this time.Even today i learnt things i hadn't known about this game.That's what i loved about it even though we have pounded our heads against a wall often with bugs that have never been addresed.
I've played so many computer games in my time,geez and when i think about all the games from apache on the commadore 64,or ultima on my amiga 1000,then PC with wolfienstien,doom then on to the death recon then halflife and the battlefields games etc etc there's only one game that made me play over and over.
It was this game.I've probably put on 5kg as i dont exercise like i used to and yeah an addict to this game because of the depth.
There are many in my guild that vary from 14 to 40's and i have to say all the young one's disappear to play the latest battlefield,or wow,guildwars etc.In our guild it's the peeps of early 20's up that are regulars that stay and learn the game inside out.Geez i swear half are in the US military.
They logon to play,chat,craft,not all want to combat or pvp.This game is also the friendships,the debates,the arguments over religion,politics, the jokes about this and that.
You didn't have to destroy what we have come to love.You didn't have to simplify what the game was.We all learnt off our guildies.
Geez i joined up a work friend a month ago he is 35.He is an addict now.He didn't know a thing.But he is Master now unfortunately a CH.He learnt everything from the elder players the ones that pass on the knowledge.
This game is for people that want it to be enduring,not a 2 hour turkey shoot.
Myguildies and iwill give ita chance but already talk is to move on to a more complex game in the future.mmm Star Trek online and even D&D are being spoken off.
I don't want a shooter game.I got battlefield2 for that.
Don't treat us all like little children and keep this game with depth,difficulty and a challenge.
Old padawan stuck on mission 8 on knight trials since CU.

That'stheir idea of adding new CL's? To take everyone who is full temp and make them grind another 10 cl's just to get the same skills they already had? What a **edit**ing joke.

horrible...
you havedestroyed all i love on SGW, i've already cancelledsubsribtions on all my accounts and others who i know will do the same. Every change makes the game easier and easier... and i DON'T want to play easy game anymore. im not an american 13 years old crying child and will not be your costumer anymore.
