Thread: My advice to all jedi about BH

I've NEVER ran from a duel the entire time of being jedi, before and after CU.
If you just keep running and running, eventually they're gunna catch you, and where is the fun in running away?
I've found the best way to get them is to just go head first screaming like a banshee. Be lame, root, walk out of they're range, /taunt, saber throw, stuff like that, wait till all their buffs go down, and if they got spices on, goodie, go all out when they've gotten around 1-2minutes left on the spices, they'll get downers and thats what, 600 health gone for a few seconds, big window of opertunity
Always remember to armor break, root, knockdown, blind, whatever you can stick on them, stick it, then if it aint working, then you can run away
jedi used to bea pvp prof it is no longer true tho

so, you're telling jedi to run and not pvp....which is what jedi is...a pvp profession. along with this statement, you are calling someone else a carebear. i think you need to redirect your carebear accusations at the nearest mirror.

thats a ridiculous statement about blixtev ... you guys still have more power than us .. if your gonna run .. run .. no one is saying you cant or shouldnt thats up to you ...believe it or not BH understand why ya run, the game is up to you how you want to play .......

Screw that man, when a BH comes for me, I slice em and dice em, end of story. I dont know what the heck all you guys are complaining about, if all you jedi spent more time thinking about fighting and not running you would do much better.
Example: DROP FORCE RUN2. Its only really useful if you want the coward option. Screw that, go with force run1, its on permanently, it does not cost any force, increases battlefield manouverability 10 fold and you will be all over that bh he will have no time to do anything but heal.
Ive beated the best bhs on our server like this and I was able to beat them before when I had no force run at all.
OMG I just read some replies in this thread. Let me get this straight, many of you wont fight a bh because there is no FRS in it for you? Or because you cant wreack his equipment or because your too afraid to die?? Your all waiting for the FRS? And for what so you can all become the biggest bunch of cowards the world has ever seen?

None of you guys are ready for the FRS as it stands now. If it comes out, and you guys have this attitude, not only will you fail, but you will all become the most selfish cowards, you will lose alot of your friends and keep only the friends that are just like you, and eventually you will hate each other.
Jedi dont fight because they have something to gain, they fight because the fight needs fighting. Jedi dont fight so they can destroy other peoples equipment, they fight because the fight needs fighting. If you dont kill the bh, you have to spend your whole day running or in a house, or logging out? I dont think so, you are no jedi if you do this.
What the hell has happened to our community and profession here. Whine whine whine, thats all I see. Where the hell is god damn backbone you all should have developed through your long and painful journey to get here?
Wake the hell up. Your not a jedi to server yourself, your a jedi to serve the galaxy. If your a dark jedi, then you exist to keep the clone center full. Either way, you should not be running away.

You know honestly I have more fun doing that sometimes than DBing them. Just knowing that you have somebody with issues chasing you for over two days can be fun. I've done it, and it REALLY upsets them beyond belief. Oh, do a /addignore first that way you won't have to file harrasment tickets when they start cussing you out for not standing still for them. But another fun thing, sometimes after chasing me for a while, I'll let them catch me. Nothing better than making them go thru all that just to get a quick DB.
Alot of BHers are getting tired of the full templates, and when you start leading them around, they assume you aren't a full template. So they make more mistakes thinking you are an easy kill.

I am not sure why BH's even hunt Jedi with the access to the loot they can get off of NPC missions. I may get me a CDEF pistol and if I am attacked use it on them for a while, then run. When they saddle up on their bike, I will blow it out from under them and run some more. Wow, this could be entertaining.Note: My comment about the loot was not a negative comment. I do not mind that they have access to loot. I just hope that SOE spreads the wealth to all the other professions also.
Most of the only BHers that come after me are the ones that hate Jedi and just want to cost XP now. The last two did alot of trash talk about how I personally was ruining their game time by being a Jedi, NO JOKE. He told me he would hunt me anytime I log in as long as he had my mission. And so I did what I always do, alot of quests and traveling to lead him all over. I had to put him on ignore since he kept cussing me out for traveling. Needless to say I filed complaints, but from what I've seen it doesn't do anything nowdays, they don't even punish those exploiting to kill pvp anymore it seems. But I won't go into those details, I still have hope they might react.
