Thread: Why does everyone complain about BHs?

every jedi has accepted being hunted so not true - By becoming a jedi you accept that, the system is clear jedi are hunted by BH, if you become a jedi you will be hunted.

making a jedi a regular proff we are right now - No your not, you may not be aspower as intended or as should, but a well temp'ed jedi who knows what he/se is doing.

time and no risk then it seems kinda pointless bh - greifing jedi is not. there is no reward only risk. A. its not griefing, if it was griefing then it would be against the EULA. But once the FRS comes back, and we think it will with TOOW they there is reward.

Just expect the bh if you want to be a jedi, ya it sucks losing xp but it is a way to slow down jedi which is a good thing. There are sooooo many now, once you get full temp you shouldnt have a prob with a BH. Ya, somedays its bad you get a dozen after you in one day but i havnt seen one for a bit. Now that i finished my new temp i am kinda looking forward to one coming

Its a game enjoy it

one yes, one is ok but i get 2 or 3 a day. a real pain.

I have no complaints with BH. What I have trouble with is how they get thier missions. I strive to stay off the terms but its near impossible to do anything without Vis. There are a number of quests I would love to do but I can't. You get vis from freaking vehicles!!

Hell if I got hunted once a couple days from a BH it would be cool if I it got me off the terms, but the problem is once your on the terms you can never get off. I have a buddy who went to freaking Iraq for 4 months, came back, logged on and was hit within 2 hours. Tell me thats not F'ed up. Even then he tells the BH good fight and the BH responds with, "No it wasn't, you suck"

The whole system is messed up and the devs are too busy having fun with the nerf bat to think about fixing anything, it would be cool if they would just answer a couple questions every now and again. Like, "Hey, we know this is broke and we're looking into it" or "Yes, we are aware of this", or "Yes, we are aware your Post CU saber sucks so instead of fixing it we'll just nerf all the pre-cu sabers so you can all suck...together"

Agree with one have to disagree on the others.

It's DEV sanctioned griefing and it's annoying, but I thought everyone is warned upon completing thier trials that they will be hunted? So it's just something you have to deal with.

As far as jedi being powerful. It's just about on par with several combinations of non-jedi professions. This flimsy argument about "A jedi who knows what he is doing" is worthless. You are making no point at all, because a player "who knows what he's doing" with a MBH/MCM is going to be more powerful or a TKM or Swordsman/Doc who knows what they are doing will be at least, if not more powefull than any jedi template assuming equal skill on the players part.

What is so hard to understand about being outhealed and outdamaged? Where does the more powerful part come in?

You can make some nice templates with jedi but don't fool yourself into thinking that you can't make something equal, if not better with a non-jedi template.

I disagree, know how many jedi would be put off.

I am willing to wager more then half.

Also, well as a BH it takes from us, i know what the response is "Shut up, its my toon i pay for it" I agree with that partly, but the system has been like this for so long and every jedi has accepted being hunted. I am not against improving the system, but i think that it makes pushes the attuide of making a jedi a regular proff. If its only time and no risk then it seems kinda pointless.

every jedi has accepted being hunted so not true TRUE You accepted when you started on your grind for jedi well knowing that this was the case when you became Jedi.

making a jedi a regular proff we are right now FALSE I cant shoot lightning from my fingers I cant choke you I cant create my own weapon I dont have Avoid incapp CLOAK and many other things.. not regular advanced just not like movie JEDI

time and no risk then it seems kinda pointless bh greifing jedi is not. there is no reward only risk. FALSE it cannot be construed as Griefing IF it is AS INTENDED game play. The game was designed to be this way. If you feel you are being griefed upon by being hunted by BH then simply do not play that type of charecter... you do not pay to play jedi you pay for the ability to use there game system as they intended and any change they intend to make there of. SO not griefing you coulod cimply play another charecter in which they gave you an alternate charecter just for this means, that way you could still play a normal charecter on your same server as well as your Bounty Hunted Jedi which is like a ceral suprise toy when opening the box of lucky charms. Yes its plastic and doesnt do much but you have it...thats the idea..

Man I hate being blunt but come on people stop the whinning. Look back at all the post from here to game start SAME CONTENT being said over and over again...

/flame off

/nice guy on

On another note I to like jedi and dont like BH'ers either but I know its there and I accept it..the way it is since its not my game..!

Just to flame the fire a bit here... to all you Jedi who think BH/CM are a "cake-walk"...I'll put my altup against the BEST Jedi on Bria...and I have at least a50% chance to win... Losing typically involvesgetting the KD bug, running out of Stims,or some other silly error, usually associated withserious lag. Otherwise, only the best of the best has a chance to win. I love it when the big talkers run away and say they won, or give excuses like they ran out of force, or they popped the wrong food...yada yada...to me...they lost, and they know it. Running never feels good, but dying feels worse...I know.

So all you Bria alpha Jedi...IGN: Keepher if you think you are all that and a bag of chips.

For those of you full template, pre-cu, max saber, pvp kingtypeswho have fought Keepher or anygreat MCM, you know what I'm talking about. Until things change, my Jedi is taking a long nap.

I have beat every BH that i have encountered since i became full-temp. Every fight is different and it takes creativity to survive.

The two highlighted phrases do nothing to help your case. They are quite clearlyhypocritical.

I'm not making a case, I'm a Jedi at heart. The fact I can kills so many Jedi single-handedly has me sick.

I do understand your point, however, let me clarify: I first elaborated on what causes most deaths for me. I never use it an excuse to the person who DB'd me, it's just a reality of PvP'ing generally. Finally, the excuses I listed next, are examples of somethe Jedi who flee the fight, claim to still be ubernerness reencarnated, but yet blame something silly as to why they couldn't finish me off or stay and fight.

I say make this whole discussion a joke and restore Jedi to it's rightful place in SWG

Ahhh, I see what you mean now. I still have a lot more XP to go before earning that master box in the "Engage Brain Before Responding on Forum" skill tree.

As much as I would like to see the Jedi "profession" regain its former glory, I'm not optimistic at all of that happening for all of us. There're so manyJedi now that few other players would stand a chance in the GCW or PvP if we did. What I am hoping is that a revamped FRS (or whatever it might be called) provides the means by which some few deserving Jedi achieve the level of power we all drool over, and a means for insuring there are no cliques or other such nonsense so that we all have a chance at it if we're willing to put in the effort to get it. I know the old system didn't succeed much on the "deserving" or "cliques" sides, but I'm still hopeful about the new system.

We'll see.
