What I find entertaining is all the cries and the new guys suprised that we have been nerfed.

You guys thought along your grind that you would be strong and working correctly.

For what it is worth we were never always working as intended. Due to the fact your here proves that, on the up side of this we are now as common as a Nuna in the game and everyone and anyone can get Jedi in mere weeks and be done once unlocked in a month.

FYI, blame alot of this on the cries of nerf from some fellow Jedi and yourselfs. People think that the game just went POOF .. broke... Nope not true, when we started this crazy ride we were alot better off then we are now. The major difference is there is 5000000 of us now. Sooner or later the grinding on the Ryatt Trails and 3 week full template Spin groups does catch up to the class... and it looks like it has.

I still love Jedi and will fight for it and its power when I can, but sometimes its hard to fight for a class that asks its own self for Nerfs... that is where the line was drawn and that is one we never did to each other until recently. Us Pre - 9 Jedi never freaking asked for nerfs on ourself, Even after patch 9 we didnt really either.. it started with the Force Run kiting.. then got a bit worse.. BUT nothing like it is now... no way.

I have never seen so many stupid kids mad they can't fight a class within ourselves actully try to nerf ourselves... they have no clue and if they did they would not cry about each other. So far Im not impressed with the newer class of Jedi... and rightfully so.. just look at the posts, I thought the patch 9 and after were bad... man I was wrong. We have guys that actully are mad at Defenders for being tanks...and people mad at Cloakers for using cloak... The whole thing has turned into a contest to see who can eat our young faster.

As for some of us old guys, these nerfs are a drop in the bucket... we have seen far worse then Pearl drop issues and Cloak issues...so this is a cake walk to us but seeing all the new guys cry for nerfs on each other takes the cake. The difference between old Jedi and New Jedi is respect.. plain and simple. For that Im glad I unlocked when I did... Some of you guys need to just freaking wise up learn how to play the Godamn Game and quit your crying. Pearls are broke you know it...we know it , its old now. Quit your bitching and figure out ways to get better at your template instead of wasting your time crying for Nerfs on Jedi.

My Rating: 5/10

1.) We are little too weak compared to the BHs who have the suprise attack.
2.) The force drain lately have been insane. I run out of Force after a 10 minute fight with a BH... No way you can call this balanced
3.) No Pearl Drops of Premium/Flawless quality. So theres no way we can get pearls that will give us weapons of equal quality
4.) BHs have Armour slice, Weapons Slice, Krayt Enahnched weapons, Surpise attack. And No slow regen cost on any action they got.
Jedi have Force, action and mindcost added to weapon and even health cost added to some jedi specials. While BHs only have action on weapon.
5.) BHs also have the chance of getting both a Doc buff and soon a ranger buff, while the jedi have to get a buff every 40 minutes just to be on equal line... Unfair!

We are not stronger then other professions. Thats ok, if we are not forced into PvP, as with BHs. And if we are supposed to be 1.5 times stronger only as a Knight, SOE cant balance us before we have the posibillity of getting knighthood.

Much work remains really on the Jedi. The only reason it gets as high as 5 is because i love being a dark jedi. I always loved Star Wars. But I have to say that the Jedi in SWG is a joke. Remove Forced PvP if you want us this balanced! Thats the only solution.

The Game do have potential tho

Well it depends on how you look at it. I had lots of friends that were Pre-9 Jedi, some were Guardians. Personally I unlocked between 9-10 so I only got to play during the slightly nerfed stage.

If I were to give a score it would have to be for PvE and PvP separately.

PvE - 3/10 If you ever had a chance to play the Jedi profession with a near perfect saber in Pre-9 or Post-9 (before Curb), you knew Jedi was extremely fun in PvE. I had a template that was uber, I admit, however, looking at my Jedi now makes me laugh. Yes everything in the game is weak but funny how I have more fun playing my non-Jedi alt in PvE.

PvP - 5/10 I give this score on the basis that we can choose a couple templates that will be equal to some non-Jedi templates. There are still some templates that cause problems. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Melee templates mixed with Doc are more than a match for ANY Jedi. Let me repeat that, any Jedi. The right equipment with the right Melee skills can handle any Jedi....of course unless you cloak or FR away than no one wins.

The profession has been nerfed. IMO it's no longer fun to play because I not only witnessed how fun it was to play as a Jedi pre-9, I played after and it was so much more fun. This includes all the insane poisons/DoT weapons. I'd take those back if it meant the nerfs stopped.

Jedi is for all practical purposes a novelty class.

It's a steaming pile of .........nerfage. I played about 5 months before CU, all grinding mind you, and it was a lot more fun (save the loneliness) than currently. The ability to 'know' that you could cut through literally anything was comforting (I know ls resist psg's, bah). The action was a ton smoother, prettier, and more graceful. The sheer joy upon reaching ls 0040 and seeing what I likened to "Bruce Lee raging on roids" was fantastic and I fear lost on the newer padawan. The ability to pop armor(mid-template) on when a BH decided he needed to be sent to the cloner was outstanding. That one little ability to put armor on in combat would allow soo many of our paddies to survive...... Anyhow, Most of the skill trees have gaping wholes, broken mods, or skills that neither work or are pre-cu artifacts. The negative attention received from the powers that be are also very unwelcome and not helpful at all. Meanwhile, we have not had a positive fix other then some 'minor' tweaking of action and force costs for sabers, although in the same stroke they added mind cost to out weapons. The profession is in a shambles. Yet 90% of the player base is actively moving towards a Jedi in one shape form or another, that's a scary number for SOE to have to deal with, 90%. I do not mind if 100% of all players are Jedi, but if the profession is in the state it is in now once they get there the game will just cease.

Lol No -- its a (its a big fat 0 of 0 ) --- null.

Asking for a rating on our class right now is like asking yourself for your own head on a stick.

We do so much to ourselves it's as if we should not even ask this.

7.5. It has its flaws, sure, but in GENERAL, jedi isn't that bad. It provides a fairly unique playstyle in this game, at least from my own template (enhancer/powers dual mastery) that can't be found anywhere else. Also, it opens up lots of fun when you start getting into things like RP. The problems are that the various jedi professions are always in a state of flux, because skills are always being changed around, and drastically so. It's not the overall power level that is a real problem, just the fact that it is so hard to get/change templates and that they change so very often.

Reasoning. Nerfed Pearls / FRS non existant

These are game breaking issues that leave the full templated jedi out in the cold.

1. No FRS system

2. No content, nothing really to do other than PvP which has no purpose other than talking smack at this point

3. Broken disciplines like healer and powers.

4. limiting bugs like the speed bug

I find myself not logging in anymore on my Jedi unless its to help someone with something. There's just not much to do. There is no FRS there is no point to the GCW (it's more about PvE than PvP anymore).

Just to many reasons to want to list them all.

However if they fix pearls drops, saber modified speed, post cu saber crafting improved to be onpar with pre cu sabers, give us back the frs in a functioning state that doesn't need fightclubbing, do away with the triple threat special action cost and poor force regen, kill the heal timer or cut it in half and allow us to wear our robes over our saber clothes then i would give it 10/10

I had more to do and I was far more stronger than my Jedi char (which I worked on for a year) with my Swordsman/Rifleman (which I worked on for 2/3 weeks)before I completed the padawan trials.

I'm sick of Jedi being the hated profession, and also sick of getting that vibe from the DEVs as well. If you don't like it, don't implement it.

The Jedi community is the worst community I've ever seen in my whole gaming life. Arrogant know-it-alls believing their ideas are the best and making it worse for all others playing the game and writing on the forums sensibly.

3 points are for the cool saber sound effects and the fact thatmy char choke others, which I give the credit to Lucas instead of SOE.

No sig, I'm boring.
