Funny how ppl want respect in a game. Makes me wonder if they get respect in real life or at their jobs.

So basically you assclown jedi who think you've actually accomplished something are going to treat new player Jedi like trash?
Get a life bud. It's people like you who ruin this game.

I think you know the answer to your own question........
To the original poster:Doesnt matter if you respect them, they are gonna be able to whoop you, because in real life and in the game you are no better than the next person. Respect is for people with low self-esteem.

I find it hard to belive you will not respect a person because he picks jedi as a profession ? Some kid buys a game thinks yeah ill become a jedi pays his money only to bump into a bunch of idiots who say im not going to help them because they didnt do the same grind i did..Grow up children its not the persons fault who bought the game and if someone wants to respec to jedi what the hell has it got to do with you its there game they pay there money saying u wont help just shows what sort of people you really are god knows how you will make it in the real world when you grow up and get a job...

For as long as Jedi have been in this game, there have been very questionable/unsportsmanlike/downright-unethical tactics that players have used to unlock/advance them. That's not to say that EVERY jedi is an exploiter or had it easy, but rather that the path to jedi has always had "shortcuts" (whether legal or not).
If you've been around for a while, and seen the reality of this, you'd know how retarded it is to say that you respect this group of guys but not this other group based on when they unlocked. Personally, I give folks the benefit of the doubt. I've known loads of quality jedi who unlocked much more recently than myself. I've also known lots of old school Jedi who I wouldn't cross the street to piss on. Hell, the first and original Jedi was kicked out of the game for exploiting!

I treat the real Jedi with respect.
You definitely seem to lack the qualities of a true Jedi.

i treat others as respectfully as i can no matter what professions they are. but if anyone including jediis a jerk, they'll not get my respect. simple as that.
it is not the players' fault they can respec/start as jedi, op got the finger pointed at the wrong direction.
