There is a current situation where you can break root yourself without waiting.

And ofcourse this is just a little secret

what about a pup'd T-21 haven't had a bh come yet but i got a ton of sick t-21's just waiting for the bhs to attack

Are you lying? or are you a Master Rifleman, partial Jedi? Do you know you must be master rifles to use this? If not, I can't wait for first BH to attack you and you can't load your T-21...lmao

Don't you need master rifle to pull a T-21 now? That's why the laser rifle. Needs only CL 54.

You cannot keep the root on 100% of the time and none of those jedi got 2 steps towards you and did saber throw?

Guess your servers jedi's are not that experienced or you are attacking low level paddies.

there is a way where one person can keep you permanently rooted....

smells like an exploit, root is supposed to break and the player who has been rooted is supposed to be immune for root for some time... if I am not mistaken

Allright heres how it works .

The BH who has a ROOT can root you from 34 meters . You saber throw only goes 32 meters , your offensive force powers are only 30 meters . So the BH can kill you and you can do nothing but heal until your force power goes out . Then you are toast .

I know this works I killed 35 jedi in one day . Not low level n00bish jedi but fully templated Jedi its not a problem what so ever . I made a lot of money .

So there needs to be a fix somewhere either the force powers and saber throws need extended in range or ROOT needs to break upon being struck .

Play both my BHs and my Jedis ( and yes I have plural of both ) . I posted this on the BH forums as well so be warned be ready and be alert .

I say bs, root wears off. Healing and Masterdefender are almost timeless!

may or may not be an exploit...but in the game guide forum it explains how to do it...and I havewitnessed it done ingame...

Only way root is so devestating is when one person has mutiple versions of it, like say they have concussion, stopping, and the CM version.

Those you can stack without a timer. Most players only have one so one person can not stack the same root mutiple times in a row. The REAL problem is when you get 2 people who know what the hell they are doing. If they alternate their roots the single player will NEVER move. What's worse is if the player is only melee and can not hit the ranged attacker the entire time.

So yes Root is overpowered but not in the way most people think it is. You have to really know what you are doing if you are solo (with the correct skills) or be a very well orgainized 2 man group.

Did not know different roots could be stacked. I stand corrected on this then.

There is a good solution :

/targetself;

/attack or /forceheal or /saberthrow.

Works most of the time. LOL

i doubt you can kill a fully templated jedi (with healer 4-0-0-0) unless you have the 'end all and see all' of weapons with 15000 modded DPS - the main reason a jedi is 'good' in the CU is because they have the best healing in the game you shoot them for 1000 dmg points...one heal - back up to full health and healing dont take alot of force

Nice 'story'

well i had 2 rifle bh's kill me pretty quick. i was fully buffed 0404ls, 3000healer, 3003nhanzer, 0404def. they traded off the roots between them. and they were doing 700dmg per hit. i couldn't heal fast enough with both of them attacking me. i tried to run but there was nothing i could do but seal my fate.

I can see were one BH could do it with the right template...but 20 something jedi kills in a day is humping it! Tracking them all down would take forever and if you were overt, then all the overt jedi would stomp a mudhole in you.....so i think the theroy is sound, but i can't for the life of me see how anyone could kill over 20 jedi in a day.
