maybe instead of permadeath they could revert back to padawans and have to start all over again....

ok heres how it works if the master is killedby his aprentince his ranked is dropped to dark jedi padwan. if a light jedi kills a dak jedi or vice verca he looses 1 rank.

this is not a complete concept only a small though from some recent posts about FRS....
to stop the fightclubbing i recomend only jedi vs jedi, or jedi vs bh (with mission) grant FRS xp. to ensure no fightclubbing of jedi vs jedi occurs, a small xp loss (say half of the amount you would normally lose to BH) for dieing in frs battle. ALSO only way to gain FRS in jedi vs jedi, is by opposing factions (light vs dark). same faction jedi vs jedi (light vs light, or dark vs dark) will grant no FRS xp.

i see no problem with that.... light side loses exp and force ranking in the light FRS.... dark side gains total points similar to GCW points... (bragging rights) ud be suprised how something like a light side point/dark side point system could affect the "Jedi/Sith" wars

Your failing to see the point, only a few will make it to the top, everyone else will be the ladder, always will be, cant stop that.

As long as the FRS is PvP based plan on seeing fight clubbing. There will always be a jedi that is willing to die for a price, or heck take a guild of jedi and have them all go light. Keep one person dark and get them to overlord. You may not be able to get everyone to the top but someone will get there. What if they make it so only MBH's with a jedi mission gives frs? Well I can see the jedi going nuetral for a day and everyone grabbing his mission. At this point the jedi could convert back to his faction and kill the BH's. Bottom line is the FRS is always a losing situation. PvE based means I look up a quest on the forums to become master. PvP based you find some way of exploiting to get to the top. My point is the old FRS was fine because there will always be someway to exploit it. Don't expect a flawless FRS because the odds are we'll get the same thing we had last time. All of the jedi grind out MBH's and kill them to get to the top. It's SOE if you expect anything better you are a fool.

RIGHT!!! that IS the point.... there should be a small number of MASTERS, not a server full of them.

So instead of having a full FRS with fight clubbing jedi masters, we have an empty FRS with a couple of jedi masters that exploited? I fail to see your point. With the amount of jedi running around now I would not even doubt if you could fill the council now. Pre-cu you had to grind up BH's or fight club with other jedi. It was harder then, now there's hundreds of BH's and jedi. Either way there will be masters. It just might take them longer to get to master.
