I think before you start bad mouthing the developers, you need to put your self in their shoes.
They have mandates and timeframes they have to adhear to, by Corporate staff that knows nothing of this game, or it's mechanics.
They are told what to work on/ what not to work on, and what ideas will be implemented, and what will not, by a Corporate staff that knows nothing of this game, or it's mechanics.
They do not control the decisions about what is done with this game. That is a corporate decision by a staff that knows nothing of this game, or it's mechanics. .
Only a small portion of the development team actually touches your profession, and I can am willing to bet that your issue is not with them, but rather with corporate staff that has already laid the groundwork for what will/will not be fixed.
And finally, developers are just ordinary people. They come to work, they go home, and almost none of them you will ever here from. Only the select few team leaders, producers, and managers that have been selected to answer questions to the public according to guidelines set by a corporate staff that has no idea about what you want, or even cares for that matter.
I could have probably written this better, but I don't feel well as it is, and I want to get to the point quickly, which is....
The developers are puppets to corporate SOE. They are employees that are told what to do, just like you are. They follow the directions given them, and do what they need to do.
Each one of you that says "I can do it better..." well....... I would like to see what you would do if all your hard coding was met your supervisor with something along the lines of...
"Whoa, whoa... you are very motivated, and energetic, and I like to see that kind of work, however, we need to do this instead..." and proceeds to rip your work apart so that he can implement something that SOE/LA, or whatever wants instead.
or better...
You come up with a working script that solves a major problem with the game code, but when you send it to your supervisor for approval (most likley scenario), it is discarded along with a million other ideas, waiting for approval that will never come.
You see, none of you have a clue, unless you have done this for a living, that imagination is all well and good, but most often is over shadowed by endless damands that have been handed down by upper managment.
I know that this is kinda scaping the surface, and rather technical, but I want all the kiddies that have no clue that it is alot more involved than coming up with a fix. It is called politics, and there will always be alot of it.

it sounds like so much fun, but i will be so far behind. How hard is it to get to high end content, Like does it take 2 weeks to get the top then the rest is skill and or equipment based? or is it like WoW were it takes atleast a month or 2 too get to 60?

you have to have CoH? what if i wanted just be a vilien, could i then just buy CoV and have full access to the PvP?
no m8 when u have CoH atm and u'll buy CoV u will only have to pay for one game and u are able to play both games... u don't need CoH to access the PvP in CoV. It's quite vice versa tbh the players who have CoH atm would really want to buy CoV cause of the new buildable player bases which ppl can raid etc
