I only play because it is star wars, I am huge fan, but sadly it no longer feels like star wars to me, I am only here in hopes the devs really do have some plan for the game, or its 2007 Star Trek mmorg not owned by sony at least not at the moment lol...

I initially played because of the SCI-FI element which honestly isn't the norm for a MMO. But to be honest the social aspect of SWG is the best I have been in amongst all of them including GW, WoW, EQ and EQ2. I quit for awhile to go back to my Sword and Sorcery roots but the Cantina parties, organized base raids, weddings and general interaction of this game brought me back.
Think about it, aside from a million broken things this game is the only one that allows me to have PvP, PvE, Twitch Space Combat, Yacht parties and have a player city. So to answer the question, ya I'd probably still play if it was a different skin other than Star Wars.

If it wasnt for the StarWars Logo on the box I'd have never picked it up.
Never thought about playin a MMO.

You gotta be kidding me. This is the worst example of an understaffed, unsupported, directionless, listing, buggy, broken, leaking tub of a project that infuriates me beyond all imagination when I think about it. I work in customer service and know things can be fixed with communication. However SOE and LA's arrangement is deplorable to say the least. Why on God's green earth didn't I go get addicted to CRACK instead of this game I do not know! But, it's Star Wars so I love it....

Even the people who answer yes wouldn't because there'd be 500 people spread across 20 servers. They'd leave soon enough. Unless they're a masochist coming from AC2 for their fix.

I can be a Jedi....only reason I'm here. If I couldn't be Jedi I would have moved onto something alot less buggy along time ago.

Even if not Star Wars, I think I would still be playing this game. This is still, /handsdown the best sci-fi mmo on the market.
