Not only do I NOT play my jedi much anymore, but I'm spending more time playing a different game altogether.
Basically my SWG time consists of keeping my alt's vendor stocked with premade stuff and log my jedi on to check email. and thats like once every other day.
the only way for you to productively protest is to hit the 'cancel' button. This is not a flame, just some guidance. The xp pub wasn't recalled because of forum crying, it was recalled because 20k accounts cancelled. The only thing that will make it to the suits will be a decrease in revenues. You do not lose anything by hitting the cancel button, simply play out the time left and see if they change the problems. If they don't well... then it's easier to wait them out. I do believe that they think this DVD release will bring in many new players. I'm not so sure this time, EPIII is old news. If they didn't sign up at movie time they certainly are not going to now, even if SWG comes free with the DVD. Hit the cancel buttons and make sure you fill out the exit surveys'. Do it with all your characters and they will start to see the pinch immediately. Last time Julio Torres himself came to these boards and apologized, you think that a 10-35% reduction in subscriptions won't get noticed? It did last time....

**edit** what SOE wants... I pay to play this game to get something that I want... I don't give a god damn what the **edit** soe wants... Besides that, SOE doesn't even know what the **edit** they want... they don't communicate for **edit** with us, how are we supposed to know...
If you would read what I wrote you can ahve what you want and not give SOE or the BH's what they want. Comes a time when everything is so tardastic we juz need to be the smarter one and walk a different direction for a bit. Like everything else they have implemented this is short termed b4a nerf hits.
- I wont be content if I'm not allotted proper skills to enjoy loosing. I won't be reduced to someone elses amusment.
- I will take advantage of the new godlike abilities and use them to gain an advantage for my jedi down the road.
There has always been a way around most aspects of the game. I have seen several 1 shot incaps and i'm tellin ya there is no way this will last long.
For once take a stance and do it productively. Go enjoy your alt.

Truly the most honest post today. I'm having a hardtime reading all the BH gloating posts, and the Jedi whining posts... honestly I'm amazed at the continued short-sightedness of this games community. You have 2 choices.
- You're upset, it's no fun for you anymore, please hit cancel. You can always dump lots of maintenance in your homes and come back later "if" you decide they have fixed the game sufficently.
- You've decided you want to keep playing. Either adapt to the new changes or change your playstyle to adapt.
Now, I'm not saying it's "fair" or "fun" to have to adapt AGAIN. But what else can you do besides cancel? The Dev's aren't going to back this out. But patience does have it's virtue as well. Everytime in the past that something became overpowered it only takes a short while before they nerf it into uselessness. Squad leader finally got a revamp but unfortunately for them it immediately became a BH tool. You know the gloating from the BH's and the whine from Jedi will result in these skills being nerf'ed.
Personally, I'll just slightly adapt. I'll run my Kassyk quests with my Jedi toons for now. I'll contine to use my Weaponsmith and Shipwright alt's and just try to make some credits. If one of my Jedi leaves Kassyk it will only be to go run some JTL content or move furniture around inside my mant private homes. I simply will not be BH content. If it was even close to a fair fight then I would, but with 3-10k single hits... I'll stay out of it.
The Nerf bat always swings both ways, I'll just wait for that and then laugh hysterically when the BH boards are full of what we're seeing today. IMHO this cycle will continue until the BH/Jedi community realizes they need to work together to make it fun or the Player Bounty system is bound to fail and go away.
