Npc at enclave dont drop i have tried killing more than 20 and they dont drop at all

I've never ran into those Rancors.... but I will tonight if there are any to be found...

we got a group od 2 defenders a mdoc and some other jedi, we easily killed 10 jedi cl 500 sentinels, nothing.

I would kill an Anceint Krayt with Pre-CU Health! just for a Premium! I would call all the Jedi I know to take the3 beast down!

i saw a pack of Lvl 498 Huurtons the other day.... i didnt try to see what they would drop

i say they need to introduce a few crystal caves with instances where you can get crystals that drop from creatures in there or find cracks in the cave walls where you can radial menu pick up crystals after defeating a high level mob. As far as pearls make it a quest reward for premosand make it so that most krayts drop atleast a fair ones every time or most every time. Especially since Krayts store pearls in their gizzards to help grind up food. All Krayts would then have pearls since logically all of them would be eating to stay alive. Whatshould be the rarest thing should be an ancient krayt. There wouldnt be many around at all. Perhaps you would see one every couple of months or basically the spawn rate should beinsanely rare. If perchance you did see one it would be a good idea to call all your friends as it would be garunteed to drop premo and flawless pearls that tune great every time and it woulnt drop just one but several as supposably krayts are able to hold about 24 pearls in their gizzards.

lol. yeah, they should definately be out there. Think in a previous postTiggs said the should be RARE. Right now they are going extinct, and I personally don't like it.
PS I have a nice pre-cu saber so it isn't a self interest post.

TO clarify - Tiggs has said some confusing things (in the stickied thread on Pearl drop updates up top)
FIRST - she said:
The "rare" pearls are simply ones which dropped from very high level creatures. What changed was that combat upgrade altered the levels of creatures. So where a pearl might before have been considered "premium" because it dropped from a level 287 creature, now it isn't considered premium because the creature dropping the pearl isn't level 287 any more.
The possible stats that a pearl can give you are the same, regardless of the pearl quality. The only advantage a "premium" pearl gives you is a better chance of getting higher stats. "Fixing pearls" would be a matter of changing the level ranges for different quality pearls. This would be a retroactive change which would suddenly change all the pearls in the game to be high-level pearls, increasing the power of Jedi globally and almost instantly - Unless we simultaneously lowered the advantage of premium pearls so that they don't give as much an increase to the odds of getting higher stats as they do now.
We would rather keep the premium pearls as they are - highly desirable and much better (in terms of the odds of getting higher stats) than normal pearls, but not drop them as casually as they dropped in the past. These should be rare, elite quest rewards and very high-end, elite-monster drops - not things that players "farm" from creatures that are no match for the player.

"We will bring them back" - confirms they are gone - which the original poster seems confused about. The thing we should be concenred about is that last sentence " will get to keep them in the interim". And what about after? Does this mean they are all going to be re-set? better not be. Alas of the 1000 replies to that thread - those are the only two things that have been said.

Premium Pearls
Currently, Premium Pearls do not drop. We will bring them back into the game once we figure out a favorable implementation of these special items; there is not specific ETA for this change and all players that have the old Premium Pearls will get to keep them in the interim.
