Im not sure what you are planning to go for template, but heres somea dvice. If you are planning on getting in groups and spinning your way, you will want to get 0020 sabers first, then grab some healing 3000 works good, then work on your template. if your going defender, get that before rest of sabers. i went master saber first and found the grind to defender longer as i hit faster and did more damage they would tend to hit me more and i needed that defense. plus if a bh shows up and your just a grinding paddy you dont stand a chance unless you have decent defense, even then it will be a hard fight. Another good skill to help you with grinding is channel force, 0002 enhancer. Unless you have decent force cost on your saber which unfortunately is not the case for most new jedi these days.

and if your a hardcore gamer and play 12+ hours a day, you can get full template in 1-2 weeks by doing nothing but missions with groups of other jedi using spin technique. I made 4.3 mill jedi exp in one day with a group in 12 hours, non stop missions, maybe 1 or 2 bh interruptions. if you have respecs left you can also use that to your advantage too.

but if you want to take it slow and enjoy the path to Jedi Knight template, it will take a long time, not a year but at least a few months of casual play and thats if you stay off the terminals.

Your #1 priority as a padawanshould beavoiding visibilty unless you want to fight the bounty hunters. That means, do not use any force powers or saber attacks anywhere within 40m of npc or player unless they are in your group. It is actually 32 m, but ive heard some people say that due to game lag the game never 100% accurately displays the actual distance they are away from you. To be extra safe, make it a habit to unequip your saber when not using it. Sometimes npcs in cities can attack you for whatever resaon and its bad news if your saber sparks up when 20 players are standing around.

Also some mroe advice to help you grind better, is food combinations. Get some accuracy food(crispic) and some health, mind and action regenerating food( bofa treat, blob candy, spiced tea), also vegeparsine and pikatta pie work good too. Thats whati used. Get some booster blue spice for a nice extra boost, watch for its 30 second downer though when it expires.

And, congrats!

ill be honest with you. It is really amazing at first cus you feel all specially inside..heh. you do.

then, you get that first bh death and negative xp (really shocking when you see it for the first time, cuz youre like whoa!) then paranoia for a while.

then you get full temp. Heres the interesting thing. All that spinning programs your mind in a sense..pve since. You HAVE to practice pvp even as a full temp, or else you will get totally abused. I learned that PVP is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like pve. Zero. then you get a tad frustrated and realized all your work is pointless unless you can pvp. then the fun begins. Youll have to pvp when the bhs come for you.

Lastly learn all you can from veteran jedi. screw all these guys making smart comments about old jedi being jealous even if they are. Dont try it on your own. they have been there and done that. 90% of the post cu jedi have not. I am a post cu also and i have leaned so much from the pre cu vets and because of this have a very sharp edge on the others who dont.

Precu vs postcu is crap. learn from a precu jedi vet.
