Thread: A disturbance in the force...
Welcome to the office.
I think it's a job noone should envy you. And probably noone should have applied either as a protest.
P.S.: Don't expect anything from it. Devs have always done what they wanted or what "the money" told them. You are no exception and you surely won't make a difference.

Now, I just want to point out to those that don’t understand what a correspondent is, I am a regular player just like you. I am not a developer or even a SOE/LucasArts employee. I’m not receiving any money for doing this “job” either. I was just selected by the devs to be the representative of Jedi, a channel if you will, for the devs to communicate with the players and vice versa. You can suggest things to me or lobby complaints, but that does not mean that I can make it happen or get it fixed. All it means is that I can try to bring it to the devs attention and hope that it gets addressed. I’m not at their offices and I don’t know their agendas, plans, or secrets. I work a job and pay to play the game like all of you, so please try to understand and respect that.
Anyway, thanks again everybody, hopefully I can live up to my predecessor’s legacy and everyone’s expectations,
Hey there SonGouki, thanks for stepping up and taking the worst job you could ever think of volunteering for. If I were you I'd sticky the last paragraph of your address and make sure that everyone absolutely knows your position and the power.... errrr powerless job you have. One thing I would add to that though; include something saying what you can or cannot say according to the Dev's or try to explain it. Too many people just don't understand that and it would help if you could somewhat explain it before they all start into you saying you're cow-towing to the Dev's.
Other than that, I hope that the SWG Dev's do something fast to give us some hope of what SWG has in store for us. JTL will be nothing more than another flash in the pan and in a month or 2 month's time feel like the same old same old. Running missions is cool for the first couple weeks, but after that it's nothing more than a dead end. The bugs that JTL will add to SWG will be nothing more than a major annoyance and hopefully won't bug the hell out of the ground play. As it is, I have already hit the cancel account button. I just hope they restore some kind of faith in SWG before January.
