  4. Jedi vs BH guides
  5. Food Guides
  6. New jedi handbooks

" jedi should be hard because being a jedi is your reward shouldnt be able to mess around and have fun"
"well this is a game for fun messing around is fun and if your that much of a
pr!ck irl you need to get laid"

"I am Scissors, Paper is fine, but Rock needs to be balanced"

Be careful... remember when Tiggs and Thunderheart acknowledged the pearl drop problem with premium / flawless? Look what came out of that one. *Can't fix it.. so you screw you guys

lol i wonder if there is a howto play your brand new ebay jedi strategy guide

i could make money if they payed as much for it as for theyre jedi

seriously though the problem is people dont like to help new people

its difficult sometimes sometimes theyre lazy and other times theyre not so smart themself

or the person theyre helping doesnt learn fast enuf and they get tired of helping and quit

leaveing the new person stranded like what what do i do ????

Mostly, it's the "I got mine, so I no longer care about anyone but myself" mentality....and the lack of rewarding jedi for good behavior.

This forum has been full of this same garbage since the game started. It was simply all speculation before the first unlock.

wow this ended up being long. Here, to set the mood :

One of the main frustrations I see on this board, are that when people get Jedi, they assume that they should be the strongest thing around. This mentality contributes to a lot of posts to the effect of "this beat me, nerf that", "this isn't fair", "I can't fight without premium pearls", "pre-cu jedi were so much stronger, but I suck".

A better mentality to have I think is: "what can I do to be good?". If you get beaten or killed, find out why, and learn to win the next time. Find out what the otherwas doing to be so good, adapt. Also, keep in mind that you will not be the bestin every situation because you're a jedi. The beauty of galaxies is that there is a lot of diversity, and no tempis king of everything. You're going to have to accept that maybe your temp isn't good at duels, but you wreak havoc in mass pvp or vice versa. Maybe you're not good at either of those even, maybe your game is stealth and subterfuge, making other players do better instead of yourself.

Another frustration for me is that people think because they pay for this game that the devs should bend over backwards for them. No, the devs will do what they think is best for the game, this is their game, not yours. Sometimes they make good decisions, sometimes they're not so good, they're human. I've been playing this game since launch, and honestly, all in all I think they've done a good job. But back to my point: You paying for this game does not mean you have any rights within it. You are paying them to allow you to be apart of their creation. Feedback is important to make the game good, but again, this is not your game, it's theirs the devsmake it what they want it to be.

Alright, I guess what I'm getting at is that too many people make assumptions about how the game should be when they have no place to. The main difference between Jedi and normal profs is that Jedi tend to assume that they're the best at everything while normal profs try to figure out what they can do to be as good or better than the rest of the players. Check out Tanking 101 on the pike forums for an example. Is that guy better than a good jedi? I don't think so, I think he fights better than a lot of them but I still believe Jedi skills have potential to be better. If you dissagree, or find a similar situation, well, no one said you had to be Jedi. If you think a normal prof or another jedi temp would be better, go do it instead.

About the author:

Yes, it's been frustrating that Jedi isn't as great as it seems like it should be, but I just try to roll with it. I'm at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to pearls so, I don't use a lightsaber, I use a carbine. If hybrid temps get nerfed, I'll find another way to make do. I have never been hunted by a bounty hunter, three other jedi that have grinded to full temp with me, they haven't either. XP has been a little slower than if we had been carelessly waving our lightsabers around all the time. but I think it's made up for it. Now, I have capped xp, and I feel like I can beat any BH that comes after me, so I don't care about vis. My last request here, is that instead of complaining or trying to get the devs to change something, see what you can do it about it first. Play the game as it's given to you, if something doesn't work like you expected / wanted / know it used to, do something else.

And lighten up, it's just a game, enjoy yourself

I am sorry, but the second list is about as dead as the first. Not sure there is anything new to say on either of the lists. I gues that is why I log into the forums about as often as I log into the game these days.

Then come up with something new...it's not that hard!

How about:

Quest Guides

Tactics vs Different professions

etc
