I've noticed an increase in the number of BH's that have come for me. I always have a go at fighting back, until my last encounter last night, where I am pretty sure the BH was a SL/BH template. I'd just cloned from dying in PvP, had put my force armor on and while I was watching the ongoing battleI was one shot incapped.

All I saw was something saidin spatial by the BH, the next thing I know, I am on the floor with the incap timer running...24 seconds til I could get up.

I can only assume that the BH used Volley Fire before using Snipershot, my armor absorbed 1983 of possible 5104 of damage, which resulted in me taking 3121 damage

Honestly if you beat a BH they dont know how to play. With my BH I keep jedi at about 60m, keep them rooted, and they cant even hit me. Ive never killed a jedi since the patch I just hunt until I incap them and leave. Well, I killed one because he ran up after incap and hit me.

After i read all the post here I felt urged to post my expierience i had the last time i faught a BH.
He came for me while i was in Anchorhead readying up for PvP - so i had full food (esp. Pikatta Pie + Booster).

Im MLS/MDef/E2000/H3000 with a 658 max.Dmg Saber on 505modDPS. I quite rapidly killed him with root+saberthrow AB+Powerattack Head/Body/Leg hit combos though he healed and attached the CM dots to me,
Funny part of the story though is after the fight was over he cloned and came back to me for a quick chat. I asked him for a friendly duel since i wanted to try out the rumours i head and guess what:

I did:
Imp. Aura
Imp. Valor
Imp. Forceinfusion
equipped PSG
looked for pikatta (was still buffing me)

and told him to shoot me. He did - for about 5 minutes and all the damage he did to me was completly taken care of by Infusion. All he had to say after this was: "Nerf Valor" what i hope they will never do.
Couldnt try this out with a MBH/MR/SL combo but im sure i will get my chance.

Also practice with friends and learn to use your template well. There are many BH's that suck, they only like hunting jedi to annoy them. Wait for them to make a mistake then make them pay for it.

th'ats what i do as well, fyi going into the outpost spaceport terminal building doesn't work, they can shoot through the door. I have found the cloner building to be the best for me

Valor is sweet, Im MLS/defender 0044/enh 3402/healer 4000. Most people go with defender 4040 and get owned by BHs. Valor+aura+force armor+a good saber is the key.

Dont get me wrong I hate the snares.....one BHI know keeps comming for me and runs whenI get close to killing him......darn snare.

The thing thatI hate the most about this post pub-24 is I get BH about every 20-30 mins like clockwork....non-stop if I'm grinding or just shoping or anything.....20-30mins....

I dont mind being hunted but Jeeze....give me some time to run around without looking over my shoulder....

Don't get viz and you don't have to look over your shoulder all the time.

I'm basically close to what you are except I'm MPowers instead of MLS. I can handle most BHs easily still. Valor FTW!

Since the patch I have beaten all 3 of the BH that came for me...one was a highly respected and very toughBH. I DO NOT have a pre-cu saber, however I do have premium crystals in it. Template MLS/MDef/Enh 0002/Healer 3000. I am at a max damage of 596 and DPS of547, mod speed 1.32,SAC is 96 with a 16 FC, no CAs.. Decent but far from uber. I also have not had any MBH/SL or any with the med droid exploit. Itsometimes takes me quite a while cause I usually can't outdamage the heals and I have to wait till the action/mind is down and then hit as hard as I can.

Anyone here ever though of using a rilfe to bother than bh that's about 60m away! Granted, you ain't gonna pwn him with it. But you will still bother him enough to make him hel after a few shots. Also, when your snared, try moving in the opposite direction. The key is timing. If Im running away from a bh and he chases after me, then when I run towards him, Im moving at twice the speed (math or something like it. lol). I have a root and a saber throw that kd's. Learning when to use them is the key to getting close enough to give him/her a shave. And yes female bh's have beards too.

PS If I am within melee distance, if he roots me, I root him. If he snares me. I root him. Within 32m, his/her bearded butt is mine.

I survive without valor. i do have aura. It is difficult. But not impossible.

ok im a newbee jedi and yes have made many mistakes along the way but have made every eff to stay off the bh terms but to my dismay i am on them . i am a lev 35 padawan (yes said i made mistakes) every day i log on now im getting caped within 20 mins of loging on by a bh and they are always lev 80. yes their are many things that sony need to address with this game and you are right i think only a few name are on the terms( raises hand) and yes it has gotten much harder to kill a bh's not that i have.

you have to remember, as bh get more toys, more exploits, more bugs you will get hunted more and more. bh know better than we that we are gimped the lowest in the history of this game....when the devs even tell us to stay in our houses you know its bad...its pretty much pay your monthly dues and live with the changes aimed directly at you to kill your proffesion off.
