Thread: Lightsaber Crafting Tools
I dropped on in our guild hall last night. It was a player-made one and not the village reward one.

With the release of TooW they were made non tradeable. If you are a jedi you can have multiple in your inventory but you have to drop all but one in a building to give it to someone else. When that person picks the tool up then they can not drop it after that.

Did you have more then one in your inventory?
Because I can not drop the one I have but if I have more then 1 I can drop all of the execpt 1.
No, this isn't the case.
Before the release of ToOW, specifically at publish 24, LS Tools would become No Trade only when you started the crafting process by selecting a Lightsaber Schematic and advancing it to the assembly stage.
Until (as far as I can determine with certainty) yesterday's (Tuesday 8 November) server reset, any unused LS Tool, crafted before Publish 24 or after Publish 24was entirelytradable. Youcould trade them. You could place them on vendors. You could buy them.
They only became No Trade when you started the crafting process by selecting a Lightsaber Schematic and advancing it to the assembly stage. At this point, only you could use thembut, you could drop them in any structure that you own.
As of the last server reset, this has changed yet again. Any LS tools that werebecame No Trade after Publish 24 remain No Trade. However, any LS tools used after the server resest I mentioned never become no trade regardardless of whether or not they have been used.
You cannot trade them if you attempt to give them to another player with a crafted lighsaber in the output hopper (i.e., the previously known Saber Crafting Exploit)
To summarize
Some LS Tools are No Trade, because they were used to craft a LS between publish 24 and the last server reset.
All other LS Tools are tradable, regardless of when they were made.
Any character, whether Jedi or not, can have multiple LS Tools in thier inventory.
If your LS Tool says No Trade, only you can use it, and you can only drop it in a structure that you own.
I hope that helps.

I think you are right on this one just logged in to test and I could not trade mine that I have used but could trade the one that I had not used. I retract my other post on this thread due to me not testing fully and I feel shame for this.
