I being a jedi of the light do not disagree that the dark side is more powerful than the light side. BUT, it is so powerful and chaotic that in the end it destroys itself. That is why the light side usually prevails.
Sokin-Jedi

thinkof it this way....
The dark side, although powerful very quickly hits an invisible wall they can never grow past....the feeling of unlimitied power is there but in actuality they can't grow past their greed and corruption making it impossible to be the most powerful.
The lightside on the other hand allows a Jedi to grow more slowly...taking in things and learning to control it before being allowed to move on. This route has great potential for with a clear mind one is capable to learn more than one whos mind is clouded...The downside however is that it takes them much longer to grow, and in actuality only a few very talented Jedi will experience great power before death. The good part is that invisible wall is not their, so the possibilities are endless.
So we get a tortoise and the hare situation
From what I understand the Force is the same for all jedi, light and dark. The difference is how the jedi uses the Force. In the books, Labyrinth of Evil and Revenge of the Sith each Jedi could use the Force in a different nature. In LoE, Yoda could actually use the Force to see future events. Of course, it wouldn't work if the Force was clouded by the dark side. Mace could use the Force to see the internal feelings of people. LoE is a very good book and I recommend it if you are interested in the story behind the movies.
Every jedi, whether light or dark uses the same Force. The difference is in how they wield it. The Jedi attune themselves to the Force, and are servants to it. They are clear of mind and let the Force steer their decisions. THey have no outside attachmentsfrom the Force that would cause them to not be clear of mind and decision making. They must be clear to be guided by the Force. This was Anakin's downfall.
Sith, feel the Force just like Jedi. However, the Sith chose to use strong emotions to harness the Force differently. With their hatred/anger/fear they are able to use the the Force for power. Of course, that is the downfall of all Sith. The desire for that power usually leads them to killing eachother. That is why the rule of 'only 2 Sith' came about.

um yeah....we all know they use the same force...
but attitudes and regard for responsibility is what gives a person the ability to keep learning or the ability to close themselves to "inferior" techniques....
That is what I adressed and through even the movies am proven correct.

Ease up there Champ, no one is questioning your vast knowledge of the Force. I am just telling you what I read. However, you are very wrong on one thing. 'The good part is that invisible wll is not their, so the possibilities are endless.' From that statement I can say you would have made a great Jedi in Episode III. seeing as the movie, and the books pointed out that it was the Jedi's arrogance that clouded their judgement. WHich lead to their downfall. Yoda points out in the book, Revenge of the Sith, that for thousands of years the Sith were laying in wait, changing their tactics and goals, while the Jedi were growing arrogant and living by codes that were outdated, which lead to their downfall. Which infact did put up an 'invisible wall', as you call it.
Anyway, you win the Force award for the day. Just wanted to point out that simple fact...that even in the movies proves I am correct.
