That statement was made with the assumption of jedi permadeath. It's all about risk vs reward.

So then why do we still have XP loss with the way things are now?

permadeath was where, i think if ur jedi died 3 times (not sure on the 3 but i know the rest for sure) ur jedi couldn't be logged in and you had to delete him and remake him.

all skills gone, all items, all your time... gone..

As many have stated already, it takes risk if you want that type of power. When jedi had risks, they were powerful indeed. Then everyone wanted a jedi, they scaled them down, and you lost your power. Simple as that. As more of you complain about the remaining risks, expect to see jedi nerfed even more.

And to answer some people, yes, I do think jedi is still an alpha class. Of course it takes having a few 120 -9 pearls, but they are still out there. I am a jedi and a bh, without tooting my own horn, I think I am a very good bh. There are still jedi out there thatI cannot beat, due to their damage output. And I have yet to loose against a bh with my jedi once I was templated. All in all, some jedi are at the top of the chain, which is pretty good for just a PADAWAN. I'll say that again.. a PADAWAN. Some people forget they are only mid-level jedi.

Yep. I CLEARLY remember that, but I also VERY clearly remember them saying it would also take a hell of a long time, would be very difficult and there would be very few of them. And unfortunately none of those stuck either. The devs listened to the playerbase like every one is always asking for and look where it got us.

Yep, sure was good times and the best for Jedi and the game actully.

Go figure , best time for Jedi Best time for the Game ... hmm, Risk vs Reward..

I agree it got to easy to fast. pre patch 9 for the win and the fun!

That was before those 15-20 other players ended up being Jedi.
